Merely washed it with a moist wash cloth and hasn’t worked since. Had it for 2 weeks.

I bought this because it was a great price and looked like it would be much easier to clean than my previous scale, and I was correct. It also has a much higher weight limit than my older scale, 22lbs versus 5 lbs. I have a glass mixing bowl for my KitchenAid, and my old scale complained when I tried to tare using that bowl. I did a side by side comparison of the accuracy of the two scales. I think the Arboleaf scale is slightly more sensitive as it would flip back and forth a bit with items that weighed 2.5 or 3.5 grams. It would be nice if it could measure to a tenth of a gram, but I doubt that most people would care. All in all this was a good purchase as long as it lasts several years.

This kitchen scale is not expensive and does what it needs to do. It is really easy to use. I didn’t really have to read the manual to understand how to operate. After inserting the 2 AA batteries, the display lighted up and the simple buttons on both side of the device is a good size and has simple labels that one can just try the device and understand how to operate. The label details are a little light in color making it a little harder to read but not a big deal.The design is slim and sleek with its metal-like surface and the non-obstructive display/control that is located in the bottom of the scale that leaves plenty of surface area to measure your ingredients. Another nice feature is that the surface is also fingerprint resistant. It also can easily cycle through other useful unit of measurements: oz, ml, lbs, g. So should cover your measurement needs.
