This is a pretty nice little setup. It does have some cons but if you are using it for what you should be using for, it shouldn't matter too much.We didn't get this to use it as a baby camera, we got it to use as an 'anything' camera, much like any other camera; but we would use it to watch our animals when we are out of town. We liked the idea that it came with a screen that will connect to the device without the need for an app and other tools (though, I haven't tried to connect to it with this device from outside the house, I don't know how that would work actually).The setup is pretty easy; you download the Arenti app from the App Store; after you open it and register, follow the on screen prompts. You end up using the pin (that came in the box) to press the button on the bottom of the camera, once you do that, you scan a QR code from the camera, then the rest is done via the APP.The video quality on it is pretty good; you can swap quality to increase speed when abroad. I'm not sure what they charge for service but it shows you can setup devices for 4G service but you can also use an SD card (at least from what I can tell right now) to store most of the things you might need on there.There are a few cons though:1. The handheld device, even when close to the camera, can be behind or lagged. I would try to change the direction of the camera and nothing would happen; I would wait and try again and then it would catch up and move the camera.2. I don't know if you can turn the night vision off but if you are using this through a reflective surface (such as a window), the night vision will reflect back making it impossible for you to see anything through the window (only at night). This isn't a big deal if you are using it and pointing it at your baby or cat or whatever but if you are using it to monitor outdoor pets or anything; you may have to alter your setup for the night vision.But with the APP, you can do all kinds of stuff; it would take quite awhile to try to list out everything it can do, it's quite a bit. I wouldn't use this camera as a way to monitor outdoors, like a security camera but I would definitely use it for monitoring indoor stuff.All in all, this camera setup is pretty legit. Aside from the two things I listed, this is a pretty nice setup.

The 2K video quality is really impressive - you can see everything clearly even across the room. The 5-inch screen is the perfect size, not too big but easy to see details.The night vision works really well. Even in a completely dark room, you can still make out everything happening. The image stays clear without that grainy look you get with cheaper monitors. The camera can pan and tilt which is handy when you need to follow movement around the crib.Setup took longer than expected. Getting the WiFi connection stable was a bit tricky at first. Had to restart it a few times before everything synced up properly. Once it's working though, it stays connected well.The cry detection actually works. It picks up when the baby starts fussing and alerts you right away. The temperature and humidity sensor is a nice touch - helps you know if the room is too hot or cold. The two-way audio lets you talk to calm the baby down without going into the room.The phone app is useful for checking in when you're not near the monitor. Picture quality stays good even on your phone.For the price, it's loaded with features. The build quality feels solid and the screen is bright and clear.Missing star: The initial setup process is more complicated than it should be, and the instruction manual could be clearer about troubleshooting connection issues.

You can use this with just the monitor, which is already synced up (or was for me anyways), and you can also use the arenti app which does work with Google home as well. I have owned other solar arenti cameras and have been a fan of them. This camera has a pan feature so you can move around the room, the speaker works well and it's easy to use for communication. The picture quality is okay for the price but it isn't incredible in my opinion. The motion detection can be adjusted to different settings, we usually keep it on high and the sound notification we have set to detect and record as well. We added a microsd card and have it set to record, you can also pay for a cloud subscription if you wanted. The monitor lasts about a day and a half without a charge - however that's with us having high sensitivity on and it's on nearly the entire day. If you use it on a lower setting or with less movement going on it probably would last longer.

Really surprised by just how good this camera is. Quality is great, the features are wonderful. LOVE that you can move it around to see the room instead of it just focus on one spot like most other baby cams. It has some extra features which you can purchase separate which is fine and understandable but the main features of the camera are available for free and without some limited time trial. Worked great when paired with my Alexa as well and was able to see the monitor on my fire tv just by saying "Alexa, show me the baby cam". Wonderful feature.I have to say though, the first thing I did was turn off the 2 dots that let you know its on because at night is VERY creepy as they look like eyes and it freaked my wife and myself out, but I LOVE that they have an option to do that! Ambient light on it is great and love that its adjustable and the baby music is a great addition as well!

I absolutely love this monitor! I have been using this for a few weeks now and it is such great quality! The sound, picture and night vision quality is top tier. I definitely think that this camera and monitor are worth the price!

I’m really loving this baby camera! One of the best things about it is that it works without Wi-Fi, which is super convenient and gives me peace of mind. The picture quality is surprisingly high, and the battery on the portable monitor lasts a long time, I don’t have to constantly recharge it.Plus, the little bunny design is so cute! My 15-month-old actually gets excited when she sees it. It’s been such a great addition to our setup, easy to use and really reliable. Totally recommend!
