This is a necessity for my little black "panter". He plays hard and breathes even harder. This helps cool him down. I have them in my house, apartment and barn.

I purchased this pad for my puppy who tends to run hot. I placed it in the bottom of a stroller basket so when I was running errands he would be more comfortable. I didn’t feel the pad was very cool or maintained a cooler temperature even after putting it in the fridge prior to use. It appeared to be good construction and was priced reasonably but did not meet my expectations. I ended up returning the item but haven’t yet found something better.

I’m pleased I was able to find this mat that can fit inside my dog’s 20 x 22 crate. Usually at the soonest opportunity my dog pulls out any kind of bedding we leave inside, but she doesn’t seem to mind this thing and happily lays on it. We’ve had it for a few months and she’s never tried to pull it out, nor tried to scratch it. From touching it myself, I think it’s only marginally cooler than the bare tray inside the crate, so I wouldn’t rely on just this to keep my dog cool if I lived in a very hot place. But right now it’s fine and my dog seems comfortable with it.

A friend had one of these for her very small dog. So I bought one for my cat as we are living in a very hot climate. I ordered the same brand, same one she has - but it is totally different. It looks to be filled with a soft gel substances, whereas hers was harder - more like a dentist x-ray shield blanket. It barely gets cold, even if I lay on it. Also our cat just wasn't interested. Not able to return as we are out of the country.

It really is self cooling and really does re charge on its own. I got the x small for my 7 pound shorkie and it’s almost too small. I would recommend the x small for dogs around 5 pounds or less

I live in Arizona, and my baby beau loves his new cool pad for his buggy. He comes in from the hotSina jumps right in and lies down. He is so happy with his cooling pad. Works excellent and stays cool. It is made to last and east to keep clean.

I have three large cooling mats that i bought last summer. I bought this small mat to put at the edge of the bed to keep my puppy cool at night. He loves it. My only complaint is that you have to be careful how you store it over the winter. It tends to get a tiny bit moldy. You have to clean it carefully at the beginning of the summerI left it out in the hot sun fpr a few days.

Very good quality and durable, was very effective. Lifesaver for my 18-year old cat in my non-air conditioned camper. Even if she hadn’t loved it and used it, I would have 😄. Really does feel significantly cooler than environment (the stated “10 degrees” seems right on).
