I am not one that spends this much money if it did not work after water got into my basement.. I read a recipe that suggested this with and industrial fan along with odorant for the smell. Beat review I have ever read and works like a charm. I was shocked to see the moisture this pulls and keeps the smell out of my space! I highly recommend!

I wish I didn’t have a reason to have used this and tell u how well it worked but I did. Clients pipe burst in there wall from cold I ran over set up the unit and it worked amazingly the walls where dry in less then 24 hours very happy game changer

This dehumidifier has fantastic value for money. It’s slightly on the smaller side but works great, has a very low noise level. Its capacity is really fantastic for the cost as well. Super easy to set up, move around and use whenever or wherever you may need. I’ve found myself using it a good deal more then I thought it would and it’s durability and high water processing capacity has definitely come in clutch. One of the best value deals out there.

I'm not an expert, and I'm not using this professionally, so I'm probably an outlier here.As regular a homeowner that just got tired of expensive garbage plastic dehumidifiers from the big box store, this is a durable heavy duty replacement.Just taking this out of the box you can tell it is more of a heavy duty unit than the competitors. I'm guessing it's intended more for contractors? But, it works great for us. After years of fighting with gravity drains that decide to fill the bucket instead of the hose, filter clogged messages & flaky units that just don't turn on when the humidity gets high, this just works.It isn't as sleek & pretty looking as the plastic ones. I just want something that works, and this does. It's only been a little while, but my wife pointed out the musty smell is already gone in our basement. I'll update or change this if I have any problems. For now, I'm loving it! Spend a little more money now, you'll be happier in the end.The control is not intuitive, but reading the instructions made it easy to understand & use. Noise is less than the units it replaced. I'm tracking energy usage, with a smart plug, and it's lower than the energy star model it replaced.

Actual dimensions are 13” x 13”It Will NOT fit into a 12” opening.Would have been great if it fit but it doesn’t.

I have been absolutely thrilled with how well this dehumidifier has worked for us. Our basement is a huge problem due to the area we live and it constantly gets in too much moisture. As a result, everything down there smells like mildew and musty. We were recommended by a professional to start using one of these larger style dehumidifiers with a filter to help mitigate the problems with the moisture until we can afford to do the larger construction. After a few days we noticed a huge difference whenever we opened the door to the basement. And after a few weeks, the smell is almost complete unnoticeable! I could hug the machine it makes me so happy! This was such a great investment for us and well worth it for reducing my allergic reactions to the basement moisture.
