This small dehumidifier has helped keep moisture under control in my bathroom. The drain hose attachment is a neat addition that I haven't seen in other dehumidifers.

I'm using it in my salami drying chamber which is a former fridge - which is about 20 cubic feet, well below the limit. This thing managed to lower the humidity from 90% to 80% within a few hours. It failed to get below 80% no matter how long it was running. This is is ok for me but don't expect it to make a good job in a room - you will need a bigger unit for that. But major problem is when the hose is connected (a plastic piece that is falling off easily - I needed to use some duct tape to secure it in place) - it will leak water everywhere - there were more water under the unit then it managed to drain through the hose. Will be replacing it.

Such a small machine, but powerful. Our fan in the bathroom stopped working and bought this dehumidifier to suck up the steam and moisture buildup after showers. It works because after a few hours on, it collects quite a bit of water in the collector. It's a small machine, lightweight, but it works! I think the price is also reasonable for this product (just under $70 at the time of this review).

In summer I have issues with airflow and humidity in my closet. The design is sub-optimal and I was planning on putting in some ventilation, until I saw the cost. This little dehumidifier has solved that problem. The issue is my closet connects to my bathroom and if I don't close the door to the bathroom the moist air enters there. Even with the exhaust fan on some gets in. This makes this an issue year round.I set this up on a powered shelf in my closet near the door. I plan on running a drain hose to a drain in my bathroom, but for now the reservoir is working. It does a great job! It truly is set it and forget it. It fills up every couple days and I simply pour it out into a nearby sink. No more risk of mold! It is quiet enough that I keep it on continuous mode. I wouldn't have an issue sleeping in the same room as this thing while it is running. This is much better than the pellet based dehumidifier solution I was testing previously as it removes a consumable. For $70 I feel this is a great value and I look forward to having this little dehumidifier in service for years to come.

I like how little room it takes and I’ve had it running non stop with no issues for 3 months. The issues that I have is 1) that the water doesn’t really drain well with the hose. The hose was the main reason for me getting this unit.2) It also came with something loose inside that can be heard clicking when I move the unit around.3) it is really difficult to clean. Dust accumulates all over. The vents and around the water collection container. I try to clean the outside and the container when I can. I plan to open up the unit for a deep clean since all the dust can be a fire hazard. It has served me well since my apartment has no windows or vents and has prevented mold. And decent price. I probably would get something with a air filter built in in the future

This is a compact size unit that is meant for small spaces. It has a 800ml water tank and you can also choose to use it like any regular small tabletop dehumidifier without the drain hose or opt to use it with the drain hose. All plastic build that is similar to others in this price range. I got the black one and it look pretty nice sitting on the counter. The unit runs extremely quiet so would work well in a bedroom too.I have a plant area setup in my basement kitchen for my succulent collection and I always have a de-humidifer going to keep the humidity level down and to help keep powdery mildew away. I usually have to remember to empty the water tank about once a week, but with this new dehumidifier from CiiVii, I have the drain hose going directly down the sink so now the dehumidifier keeps running on its own 24/7.This dehumidifier is perfect for my plant space and the drain hose really adds a level of autonomy and makes it much more convenient than my previous dehumidifier that would stop working if I forgot to empty the water tank.

It seems to be a decent build quality, feels a little warm when operating which I think is pretty normal and you can definitely feel air moving through it. It looks nice and modern and should blend in with most rooms.I ran it in a bathroom, with the vent off and the heat off. I took my usual steaming hot shower and let the dehumidifier pull the moisture from the air. My partner took a shower as well and did the same thing. We kept the door closed to ensure the dehumidifier was pulling air mainly from the bathroom and not other parts of the house. After running it all day there is a TINY bit of water in the reservoir, but the bathroom seems dry enough. I was surprised that more moisture wasn't collected but it seems to have do it's job. Now, all of this with the disclaimer that I'm in a notoriously dry region of Canada.I plan to use it in my RV winter camping as I don't have space for a full size dehumidifier and propane heat is notoriously bad for having high moisture, along with a couple of people and dogs in the camper it will get very moist unless you have lots of airflow to the outside, which also means wasted energy. We will see how it performs if it doesn't really do anything in this space I will come back and make the comment but if it aces the job I will have to come back and revise the review to indicate this as well - it's a bit of a time will tell thing.I would say if you're trying to keep a house or even a large bedroom dry you might need to go for a bigger floor unit for it to be effective in a real humid envirionment.

As far as I can tell this is one of those peltier based dehumidifiers; it works, but at best for a very small room because the amount of water it removes is... Rather minimal. If you're trying to drop the humidity level below 45% it's only going to draw out a miniscule amount of water. Now, this is a problem with most tiny peltier based dehumidifiers I've owned so that isn't where my rating reduction comes from.First, the build quality isn't great. It's mostly cheap glossy plastic with give noted throughout the body and a lack of access to the actual peltier plate for cleaning in case there's any dust or buildup. I suppose I could just jam an air duster in and hope for the best, but the other two dehumidifiers of this class I've had both had better access for cleaning and maintenance.Second, this thing senses the tank is full based off of a fairly wonky float switch. I mean granted I kind of expected it but it isn't even secured well. I took out the reservoir, removed the cap, and the float just popped right out. It fits quite loosely into it's slot and honestly should be more secured so that someone doesn't mistakenly remove it or reinstall it incorrectly and cause this thing to leak everywhere. Though granted it remove such a small amount at a time you'd really have to neglect it somewhere to cause any real water damage. In short, does it work? Yes. However, it's far from the most well designed or highest quality dehumidifier of this style and price range.

Small, efficient, and keeping my small 200 sq. ft. "collectibles" closet at or below 47% humidity. I have a plumbed line to constantly drain and it keeps pulling the moisture, which makes me happy.

I was a little surprised at how small it was, but it does a great job. I was shocked to see how much moisture it pulled from our small bathroom. i’m thinking of purchasing a second one I like this one so much.
