These are great. I have made quite a few bodice tops for my daughter and her big complaint has been the boning coming through and poking her. The top I just made and used this, I can't see her complaining about this again. She has only worn the top once but she said the didn't feel that uncomfortable poking she got from my other tops. I am so pleased with this product because my daughter is happy.

I only have one size of ridgeline boning in stock to try (the smallest size), but am happy to report that the caps fit perfectly and they are large enough to stay on when sewn into a garment. I've seen what happens when one uses plastic boning without any caps on the ends (yep, the plastic eventually chews through the fabric and the boning pops out). The caps are soft and will be able to protect the fabric from the scratchy ends of the boning. They will be great to use in corsets or other garments requiring boning.
