Like other reviews have said (should have read them!) the brand sent was not the name brand but an alternative generic. Not the same quality as the trusted brand listed.

The product that is delivered is NOT ALphacolor Char-Kole.I just spent a week using Alphacolor to make transfers and there is a difference between the two -- the ones that are sent are much softer -- do not last as long and do not seem to transfer as well.I am disappointed with the bait and switch.

I love charcoal for my art work - and amazon has been great for so much of my art supplies. This came in a small box with two other items i purchased, when opened the whole small box was covered in charcoal dust. it took an hour to clean my floors and the other two items. every item of charcoal was broken in 3 to 4 sections each. and this is not the charcoal in the description -
