I definitely expected it to be a little bit more… fully assembled? We’ve had fun, but it took a bit of time to get the track assembled and functional. It does come in all the little pieces shown. Not a huge fan of the plastic balls, but they do work okay.

Especially for smaller kids this is really hard to assemble. Even for me as an adult the more advanced shapes were a bit of a pain to get together and then had a hard time staying together under any stress. Once you do get a track built it usually runs OK with a bit of tweaking but it can be very sensitive over the seams and around turns especially. There is a sort of starter piece of track but no end piece so you have to figure those parts out yourself. The kit ended up being much more DIY than I expected as the little 'window' pieces come on a breakout board and the stickers all need to be applied manually. Marbles are plastic 2 piece but come assembled and generally work on the track, you also get plenty of them.Overall probably not the best marble run design or execution but pretty fun overall once you get past building everything.
