Your cart is empty. 5 dpi reed for the 32 inch Ashford Rigid Heddle Loom. Made from strong, durable nylon with unfinished Silver Beech hardwood rails.
Specifications:
Length 32 3/4 inches (831mm). Length of top & bottom bars.
Height 4 15/16 inches (125mm).
Thickness of wood rails 5/8 inches (15mm).
Nylon Reed section length 31 1/4inches (795mm).
Reeds are available for differing yarns. The 2.5, 5, 7.5 and 10 dpi (10, 20, 30 and 40/10cm) reeds feature the wide eye for novelty yarns. The fine 12.5dpi (50/10cm) and extra fine 15dpi (60/10) are available for finer warp threads.

I love this loom! Its versatility makes it such a valuable purchase. It takes a little getting used to initially because there's so much more of it (after using a smaller loom). After using it for awhile, I have learned to warp it by myself, although it is simpler with a helper. It stores conveniently out of sight on the wall behind the door when not in use. I loved this loom so much, that I went on to buy a 48" Ashford, which is equally wonderful. The prices are reasonable and the quality is great. I recommend buying additional heddles, especially a 5, 10, andr 12.5 dent, to expand the loom's versatility even further. It is also possible to use a second heddle (same size), but I have not yet explored that option. All in all, I can't say enough good things about the Ashford looms!
