The internal sound card on my Lenovo laptop introduces all kinds of background noise when I plug in headphones. I can hear whines, pops, and static. But with this little in-line USB dongle, there is no noise! The dynamic range seems to be very wide and flat when listening to music.The only downside is that this is an audio *output* device only. If you are looking for something that will allow your microphone-enabled wired earbuds to send your voice to the computer, this device won't work.

My daughter Chromebook needed a extra entrance and this plug was perfect!! Sound is great and no static noise.

I was doubting in buying this because of the lack of reviews but actually, it is great (at least until now). My pc is a lenovo and my headset are razer. I just connected it and it works how I wanted. It values the money, actually it was the cheapest that I found. And it was easy to use
