To spray bar and chain oil with this: using a camp stove and a pot (I used a burnt pot which will no longer be used in the kitchen), you need to heat up the bar and chain oil in the pot until it starts steaming. Then attache a rubber hose to the bottom of this air sprayer, put the other end into the pot with oil, and you can spray the bar and chain oil with no problem (and no need to mix in diesel, wd 40, or other junk to thin out the bar and chain oil). It works really good as long as the oil is hot. Obviously, wear safety stuff (glasses, good breathing mask, gloves). This sprayer atomizes the oil so you will have atomized oil in the air afterwards for a while. And it's a bit messy. But does a great job coating with bar and chain oil.

I used the Home Depot spray bottles another user posted. Sprayed Rustoleum bed liner perfectly at 45psi, using a regulator & water separator at the gun. This was with a small twin tube Stanley Bostich compressor. For the money this would be hard to beat for a back yard bedliner or undercoating set up.

Works alright. Sprays product in clumps and not very spread out. I used this to spray fluid film. If I was to do it again Id buy once cry once with a better application tool. Quality of tool is good for value.

Le meilleur avec Fluid Film.

Works well. I ran 12 or so feet of rubber line from the suction tube to my pail of oil spray fluid. It actually had no problem pulling the stuff through that far, and now I don't have to keep changing cans.

I was able to find a bottle to fit this sprayer quite easily. I used a vitamin bottle. An alternative would be to connect a hose to the inlet and place the other end in a large can of whatever you are spraying

Honestly, I didn't have high hopes for it being so cheap. I was just looking for a cheap splatter gun to get primer and paint on the underneath of a trailer. Get a nice layer in all the cracks and crevices.Hooked a 1/2 air line to the post, thinned my paint a little, and put the hose right into a 1 gallon can.Worked great without needing the paint to be too thin!Overall, works great and does wht its supposed to. Also, easy to clean.

Bought a gallon of fluid film from auto parts store.Used this aerosol gun at 80psi from an average size compressor. Used an old pot with hot water to first make the fluid film less clumped up. Then poured some into a cut milk jug. I “cut” the mixture 50/50 with old motor oil. Then used an old drill mix attachment to mix it all up.Cut a small piece of fuel line and attached to the aerosol gun and used old vitamin jar. All in all great item. Sprays great only would recommend an air hose quick connect cause I could see some people not having multiple ones at home.Sprayed two cars with half gallon amount of fluid film!

Dose what I wanted. You'll want a decent sized compressor as you need the air, otherwise it'll be slow going. Hard to find cans to fit it where I live. Proform sells black rubberized in the right cans, 30$ a can though. Saved them and just refill with oil/wax undercoat. I wish it came with a can or.you could buy empty/cheap ones.

Works very well!! Used a sunny D bottle, it worked but not well .I need to get a more sturdy bottle with better quality threads. A swivel air hose adapter is a good addition!! NO more rusty frames!! 80w90 2qts, 30w 3qts, 1 tube red&tacky grease,8 cheap toilet wax rings heat and stir well and spray it on ! 👍 used oils, make it cheap ! A nod to groil U.T. ✌ 👏👏

I've had this undercoat gun for about a week now, I've done 3 vehicles and 1 ATV with it so far and it has worked great. My undercoating of choice is Fluid Film, and this gun sprays it well. As other reviews have mentioned, I found it sprayed best at about 80 PSI or so, with no thinning of the Fluid Film. The gun comes with two lengths of pickup tubes, one longer one and a shorter one. It would be nice if it came with a longer "barrel" as well to help get into those tight spaces, but at this price I can't complain. I did try to clamp a hose on the barrel to get into those spots, but found it filled up with fluid and then the gun sprayed out of the vent hole on the top of the container. I'll probably do some more experimenting with this, but that's also probably due to the viscosity of the Fluid Film, as it is very thick. As for containers / bottles, this gun does not include one, but again at this price it's to be expected. I had some Zep brand chemical spray bottles laying around that fit, and I think the Home Depot brand bottles are the same so they should fit as well. I think most wide mouth style chemical spray bottles would probably fit.Overall I'm happy with this purchase, it does the job it needs to do, and the tool is well built for only being about $15 bucks. I would buy again, and I look forward to continuing to use this gun.

It sprays 'Fluid Film'! I was searching for an inexpensive sprayer , and not the airless sprayers (probably the ideal choice) due to cost considerations. I sprayed the undercoating tmat abiut 80-90PSI. Very easy to control. Fluid Film is the consistency of soft butterscotch pudding. My other undercoating gun wouldn't even pick it up. This thing will launch the compound about 4 Ft!Matching a bottle/supply container: An earlier review was correct. Buy an HDX Spray Bottle (white/opaque) from Home Depot for $3.49. Works flawlessly
