I was putting together a small rig for my grand daughter with and old EQ2 mount and a Celestron refractor. The scope had only a 1/4 camera style fitting and rings are expensive. This adapter fit the EQ2 perfectly and allowed me to attach the scope or camera and it's solid as a rock. I'm sure she'll enjoy it and if she continues an interest in astronomy we'll upgrade. Right now she's only seven so this should fit the bill....for now. Thanks Astromania for the wonderful adapter.
