I've rigged a bought completely with Attwood stainless fittings - they are very good quality, are readily available in many styles, and come at a very reasonable price. These short ones are better if you aren't installing them into a thick place on the hull, makes it so you don't have a lot of extra thread/fitting sticking out. They make longer/standard versions, as well as 90 degree versions.

Purchased these to upsize and upgrade my 20' aluminum jet boat. Very pleased with the quality of this Stainless Steel Barbed Short Straight Thru-Hull. I had to enlarge the hole to the correct size. I used silicon on the lip touching the outside wall of the boat. It has a low-profile form and nut on the back screwed on with no problems. Will purchase again to replace one more plastic Thru-Hull.

This was the third try and was finally successful. The first, smaller Atwood fitting was just as advertised. THIS larger one showed up with mfg defects. The second was missing a part. I finally got the part I ordered of acceptable quality.

No flange nut came with fitting. Can’t install without the required flange nut that is pictured and supposed to come with fitting.

I used this to match the factory stainless fittings on a Cobalt 252 - They match perfectly and the quality is great.

These are good quality stainless thru hull fittings. I went with the short version due to limited space because I needed to route the hose around some rod holders. They worked out well.

Good casting, nicely polished carefull on cutout the 1 1/8 barb states cuttout hole is 1 1/2" NOT 1 1/4" will be just fine
