Everything sounds phenomenal, easy to set up. I recommend it for beginners or anyone who just wants a really good player to listen to music to. The looks are top tier. Quality and size is perfect.

This is the perfect setup. I’m just starting with vinyl and this player sounds great! The automatic functions are great as well! My only complaint is the buttons feel kind of cheap, however they work perfect so still 5/5, I highly recommend!

The sound is amazing and it looks very nice. Just buy it, you'll be happy and the price is unbelievable. The only problem is that I didn't read the instructions to put it together. It's easy but it's better if you take a minute to read. I've been collecting vinyl records and I find the best ones on eeey-bayyy. The ones I get in shops often look OK but they're not in good shape. I have a lot of 50 year old records that are amazing. Look for mint or near mint condition in description.

Got one for my son who loves his. Terrific sound for the average user. The speakers are very good, really almost more valuable than the turntable. Got my daughter one for her dorm room. Similar satisfaction.I have 1967 print of Sgt Peppers and it was stored away at my mom’s for many years. Significant warping. The player handled it fine with no distortion which is crazy. I inherited hundreds of vinyl records, many haven’t been played in 35-45 years. They sound just amazing. (I have the Bluetooth version of this player and pump it though my shelf system.)Very pleased.

Right out of the box I was disappointed with the purchase of this Audio-Technica turntable; I was supposed to receive a record cleaning kit. Well, the company shipped the box for the record cleaning kit, but the box was empty--not one single piece of the kit was to be found inside the box. It seems that no matter how scrupulous one is with buying on-line there is almost always a problem with the order. The turntable's sound is acceptable, but in no way, shape, or form does it compare to my older JVC Model #L-F210--a vintage 1985 model turntable that is still going strong, and that literally blows away the Audio-Technica turntable. The addition of the PreSonus Eris Series E3.5 High-Definition Media Reference Monitors (speakers for you non-technical people) is a very nice touch; the two PreSonus speakers rather forced me into rating the Audio-Technica turntable Four Stars instead of the Three Stars that it otherwise would have received. So, the pros about the Audio-Technica turntable: it is very stylish and looks great on my wall unit with my other stereo equipment; it is simple to hook up; its sound quality, while not outstanding is at least decent; and, best of all, it functions as a stand-alone system. Hook up the Audio-Technica turntable to the two PreSonus speakers in a matter of minutes and you've got a fairly decent stand-alone turntable system. The cons for the Audio-Technica turntable: as mentioned previously, the manufacturer shipped an empty box when the manufacturer SHOULD have shipped a record-cleaning kit; the turntable/speaker combination has nowhere the depth of sound that I get from a 38-year-old JVC home stereo component system; the "start" and "stop" buttons are cheap and flimsy; and the turntable does not seem durable--as in strong and rigid--it has a cheaply-manufactured "feel."If I had to do it again, I probably would have still purchased the Audio-Technica turntable, bearing in mind that the stereo equipment manufactured in this day-and-age does not come anywhere close to what was manufactured decades ago--especially from the better stereo equipment manufacturers in the previous eras. This is why I rated the Audio-Technica turntable Four Stars.

I spent years playing in bands and recording in high end studios, so I have an ear for music. The LP60 is the turntable that pretty much everyone says to start with. Enjoying high end gear as I do, I looked at several more expensive turntables before reluctantly purchasing this package. I figured I would want an upgrade pretty soon but this would get me started. I have played over 40 records on this thing (some multiple times) and I am more than pleased with this turntable. You can hear the warmer/brighter tones that a digital file loses. Instead of upgrading my turntable, I will gladly keep the LP60X and use my money to buy more records. The speakers are great as well. I saw some reviews where people stated that the do not get loud enough and there is not enough bass. Understand that you are buying 3.5" speakers. You will not blow your windows out with these, but the bass, volume and overall sound quality are great for their size. My music room is in our front room, which is also where our washer and dryer are located. I can have both machines running and still feel the bass in the floor and hear the music just fine. One note, for a couple days in the beginning, the tone arm would occasionally not return home properly. This was very irritating because it would keep the record spinning until you manually fixed it. The problem seems to have fixed itself. After getting broke in I have not had it happen at all.Overall I love this setup and I am very glad I went with it.
