These rain jackets are cheaply made and ugly -- and although it's not mentioned, these jackets are "youth" sizes. The large is actually a small and most importantly, it's cut small. The arms are strangely short, the waist is high, the neck is tiny and the attachable hood is pathetically undersized. This rain coat is useless. It would be funny, if I hadn't wasted $14. The fact is, a rain coat has to be roomy because it's meant to go over your other clothes. Obviously, you need extra long sleeves, generous shoulders and a big hood -- not the skimpy cut you get with this jacket.

I was searching for a rain jacket for a child that would offer and protection. Looked everywhere to no avail. I also needed the jacket to be a little more heavy duty because it was for a trip to the Bahamas on our liveaboarf boat. This jacket fits the bill on all accounts. I put some anti-reflective patches on it just to be on the safe side and I think that if we get rain that it will protect him well.

Received product as described, fits well and just what I was looking for but am disappointed that the hood has already gotten a hole at the top where it separated at the seam. It hasn’t even been worn, I took it out and hung it up on our coat rack. Kind of defeats the purpose of the hood with a hole in it.

I'm a small adult. I bought a child large hoping the proportions would be shrunken a bit. They are not. This fits like a ladies small. Long arms! It is cute and functional! I get compliments all the time!
