Aurabeam Economy Lamps are made with the same specs as your original bulb. Our housing units are made from durable and high-quality plastic guaranteed to fit properly. Aurabeam Economy lamps have an average expected life of 3,000 hours. This is our economic option. For a longer lifespan and even brighter picture we recommend our Professional line. Original Philips, Osram, Phoenix, Ushio. Keep the exhaust vent at least 2 feet from a wall or any object. Clean the projector's air intake filter every three to six months depending on the frequency of operation. If provided, use the "economy mode" when operating the projector. Please contact our customer service staff if you were to have questions, concerns, or any issues with your purchase. LASTED 5 YEARS! Seriously! I bought it in 2015 and it finally gave out in 2020. And it only cost $28 compared to the $300 some other tech said an original bulb would cost me. The reason why i'm just putting a review 5 years later is because I just came back just to order another one. Hopefully i'll have the same luck!

I purchased this lamp on Sept. 1, 2015 as a back up for my previous bulb. I know that these lamps do not last and the previous lamp this was supposed to replace went bad after 1 year and 9 months of service ( Aug 1, 2014 - May 3,2016 ). Our television is on everyday for up to 8 hours a day and I keep a 12 inch fan at the back of my TV to keep air circulating. The only lamp to last this long was the original genuine Mitsubishi lamp. There are a couple of unscrupulous sellers that use the Mitsubishi name but are not genuine. The other lamp was not from this manufacturer. This lamp did not work at first and I reinstalled it. As soon as it had power it started making noise like a rattle snake and a terrible foul smell started coming from it. After 2 minutes, the lamp blew! Even the glass on the lamp cracked! Amazon is giving me an exception credit to buy another lamp. I am grateful for the ability to search history of all my purchases from Amazon and for the people of Amazon. This bulb has a 1 year replacement warranty but try contacting the seller for a replacement and I hope you have success. I do not think this product is safe for use and I should have read the reviews of others BEFORE purchasing this bulb. Some people gave this thing high marks even thought they said that the lamps didn't last more than 3 months!I purchased a 2nd lamp ( to be fair in case it was a fluke failure ) and it was shipped overnight. I installed it 5/6/16 and it worked until 5/8/2016. That's right; less than 2 days! 2 lamps from the same Comoze Lamps and this one did just like the previous. My Mitsubishi tests fine but these ruddy lamps are JUNK! DO NOT TRUST THESE LAMPS! They are rotten and unsafe.I hope this helps.

Upon installation, which takes MAYBE 4 or 5 minutes at MOST, the TV picture looked like it did when it was brand new again!!! Don't know how long this bulb will last, so that part remains to be seen. BUT, in my experience with these bulbs, if you get 6-8 months that is pretty good. These bulbs USED to be VERY expensive and even then would only last about 12 months and those expensive ones are still available, but I only paid like $20.00 for this one. For the huge price difference , I will stick with these and save myself about $40.00 a year on bulbs.

Works perfectly. This is the second time I have bought a generic replacement for my tv. My tv is is always on and the generic bulbs have last as long if not longer than the OEM bulbs. This seller was fast at processing and shipping. Very pleased with product and seller.Update 08/07/2017 - I received 2 bulbs in Dec. 2015 and still on the 1st bulb. This TV is on at least 12 hrs a day (mainly for background niose, i .e. Music channels or news) as both of us in the home are retired and disabled. This build lasted way longer than the original OEM bulb that lasted 6 months which was replaced under warranty. Still very pleased with this purchase and I am glad I bought 2 so when this one does go i won't have to wait for a replacement to arrive. One thing I do at least twice a year is open the TV up is to clean out dust and clean the projector lens and mirror. (living in the country with fields being worked a lot does create a dust issue with everything). I do this with my PC as well.

This is a good lamp for the money. The picture quality is just as good as the OEM bulb, but it only lasted 5-6 months before the bulb broke and I had to order another one. The OEM part from Mitsubishi cost upwards of $150 + shipping and lasted for approximately 2 years. Hopefully my second one of these lasts a bit longer, but even buying two of these a year is still cheaper than buying the OEM version.I am docking a star because this bulb should last at least a year and another star because the seller of this bulb was unable to process a replacement even though this came with a 1 year warranty. I am going to try to contact Amazon directly to see if I have better luck with the warranty.
