Works great with my Rivian R1S, you do need an adapter but bought this one to future proof.

I have read many good reviews on the Autel. I got this model in the NACS connection. I have read on older reviews that the cable was too stiff. However, I do not live in a cold weather state so I cannot say if that is true. The cable is reportedly updated to address the cold stiffness. Just from looking at the item, it appears to be of good build and quality. Plus, it is one of the few EV chargers that are truly 50amps so you will need 70 amp circuit breaker if you plan to charge at the highest amps.

This ev charger delivers fast charging speeds, and its NACS compatibility future-proofs it for a wide range of EVs. The app control adds some convenience to an already competent charger. I am so used to wiring these things up that it super easy for me. I forget that most people will not be skilled and you will probably need professional help installing this.

Autel is my new favorite brand in electronics! I've used their drones, vehicle scanners, and now EV chargers. This is a top tier charger, watch, in the next few years Autel will become a household name.

I've compared several EV chargers, and this one stands out with its sleek design and decent build quality. It's compact and well-engineered, resembling the Grizzl-E, though not quite as sturdy, but with a more refined look.Future-proof features like the NACS connector, Wi-Fi, and RFID reader are a plus. Installation was a breeze, taking just minutes to set up.However, the software is a major disappointment. The generic app, similar to those used for public charging networks, lacks essential features for home use. Many functions are irrelevant, while crucial ones are missing.Given the $599 price tag, I expected more. For a simple, reliable charger, the Grizzl-E is a better value. If software features are a priority, consider a Tesla Wall Connector or other options. This charger is caught in the middle, offering a premium price without the premium experience.

Do not buy if you are in New Jersey! The Autel MaxiCharger series of level 2 EV chargers are no longer supported by New Jersey rebates! Apparently after a call to first energy. Jcp&l, I find out that Autel has changed the code on this charger so that they no longer communicate with the utilities company. This means you lose all rebate up to $2,500 at least in New Jersey. This is also the reason why the price on this charger was cut by $250 immediately thereafter.
