This meter replaced an amp Gauge in a trio of Auto meter gauges. I find knowing voltage is valuable as opposed to amps.

For most of us, ammeter readings are of little use. It's more important to know the voltage of battery before cranking and then seeing output from charging the sytsem to know what's going on.

2 inch voltmeter. Works like you would expect. Front edge sticks out about 1/4 inch mounting plate.
