This worked perfectly in my 2024 Honda Pilot. It was super easy to install, even though no instructions were provided. Check YouTube for videos on how to install. I'm so glad I did this.I hate the auto stop/start feature, plus it's not good for the long-term health of your vehicle. Starting an engine takes more effort than keeping it running and places extra stress on the starter motor, battery, engine, and crankshaft every time the engine fires back up. Studies and mechanic insights suggest this can lead to faster degradation of these parts than vehicles without the feature. Not to mention potential safety issues with the lag between releasing the brake and the engine kicking in, especially in situations needing quick acceleration—like merging into traffic.

The Auto Idle feature of nearly every new car is about the most anoying thing ever. It always shuts down at the most inopportune times, like turning across oncoming traffic. That half second it takes to turn the car back on has nearly gottenus wrecked several times.This little gizmo fixed that. Our 2024 Honda Pilot now defaults to having the Auto Idle feature in the OFF setting.This didn't come with instructions, it would have been nice to include a guide. After a youtube search, it's pretty easy. Just pop the center console with the included tool and plug this where the Auto Idle button goes, then plug the other end of the wire into this device. It only took 5 minutes to install, pretty simple.
