Using Your New System - 3X Lock
The module will monitor the OEM remote for 3X Lock and will start your vehicle when you press lock 3 times. An aftermarket emote is not necessary, there are no extra key fobs to carry around.

The included T-harness is a unique Start-X T-Harness that can not be found anywhere else. The T-harness is neat and avoids the the usual "rats nest" of wires.

So pleased with this ease of install, vs. installing one of these years ago! Very good instructions on Youtube - referenced the Toyo Tundra to install in 2011 Sequoia. The hood safety sensor is what prevents the engine from starting when the hood is open; in case someone is servicing or touching anything under the hood! I was at a loss how to complete this step & did not hire an installer. I placed the "Remote Auto Start" warning sticker in engine bay & also wrote warnings with marker for added precautions, due to risks of serious injury! Our Auto-Start works with the same OEM key FOBS - pressing lock 3x starts the engine. Great investment & very reasonable!

This starter module took about an hour to install. Biggest part was taking apart the steering column plastic cover. Watch the video first then go through the install with the video. Everything was hooked up and started up the first time around. This is a great product.

I bought this and was having body work done on my car, so I asked if they could install it and charge me for the labor--I watched the installation videos and feel like I could have done it, but was already going to be having a good bit of work done. I love it... And it seems to work from a longer distance than before (unlocking)... Press x3 & it gives you another short light blink, starts right up & the doors lock! Just have to remember to set my air/heated seats/temp based on weather changes the next morning. I have a 2012 SR5 so didn't come from factory with it, but techs said there was nothing to it. WELL WORTH THE ONE TIME PURCHASE!
