Purchased this for my 2021 CRV that is used for Uber/TURO so it gets washed on a regular basis. Protects the hood very well, but the part that comes up over the lights is very sharp. I have cut my hand/fingers multiple times while trying to wash by hand. Seems like it should be rounded over/routered better. Be careful.

Its been on for a few months now. I have gone thru the automatic brush carwash a few times a week and it still looks new and hasn't come off. i was concerned that it is fastend by tape and not brackets. so far so good.

I went w the 70% alcohol from drug store. Didn’t want my beautiful paint job to rub off. It actually may have to offset one side to get it to cover the bottom hood lip. I’m ocd, but I offset it to the left quarter inch maybe less & it molded perfectly & you won’t notice unless you spend time w a tape measure. Don’t peel off top protective film until you get the visor on the hood to prevent scratching it. It’s 100degees right now so I turned the car on the cure the adhesive before walking away.Hope this helps! AVS colors on all visors in my opinion are the best! Too bad I can’t find the window visors in Lo-Pro only bulky, so I’m gonna buy the chrome delete on the side window chrome molding to give it more of a Black & White look. Really wish the roof rails came black, but they look fine!

Good product for the price! Honda dealership was asking $300 for one. Honestly I think this looks way better than the OEM one. Sticks well. I just took it on a 70km road trip on the third day. It was very easy to install, as long as you have a friend helping you.

Perfect fit no problems tith the installation. I did however use alcohol to clean the area to be placed due to all the reviews saying the prepackaged cleaner almost ruined their paint an it worked just fine looks great.

The bug deflector looks real slick once installed on a 2020 Honda CR-V. It looks stock! It is stressful to install if you are like me and want it perfectly centered. I recommend you center it by measuring from the end tips of the deflector to the same spot on the headlight for both sides without removing the tape backing. Mark with a wax pencil to realign once you clean the surface and remove the backing. The deflector comes with two cleaning products, but I was not happy with the residue and short work time of the adhesion promoter. I ended up removing the promoter and simply cleaned with 70% isopropyl. The 3M tape stuck just fine (still going strong after a road trip to Colorado from Pennsylvania). Be sure to align the bottom edge of deflector with the edge of the hood and follow directions for gradual tape backing removal.

I've installed a few of these, so I know the tricks. The alcohol swabs they give you are inadequate, so just grab a paper towel and some alcohol from your bathroom. Dry-fit and tape the area off as much as possible - I used blue painters tape. Definitely do NOT over-use the etching fluid they give you or put it anywhere the shield will not cover. It turns the car's finish into almost sandpaper...Finished look is very good, especially on a black CR-V, but a bit pricey for a piece of plastic.
