The flimsiest bug deflector I’ve installed. Thin material and unfinished edge makes me question how it will fair doing 80mph on I29 in South Dakota with a tape only, no screw installation. We find out soon enough.

First off, this is a personal choice, we like the deflectors that mount by screws, AVS does sell this model also ( that is what we ended up buying) but as for this model, it is cool and sleek for sure, but call me old fashioned I am just not a fan of taping it to the hood, I am convinced water and dirt will get stuck under it sooner or later.

Probably should have been a two person job as it is real hard to get centered and then making sure that it follows the bottom of the hood. Mine stuck out a couple milliliters on one side. Be very careful with the surface prep wipe as I got some on the fenders and a little above where the protector was on the hood and it turned my black paint purple. Luckily a little wax and elbow grease got rid of it. I am still leery of using the tape and not having a bolt on protector but wanted the low profile so we shall see how it does.

Found out it goes on very easy and it stops your doors from hurt another cars and it hasn't came off yet of all the car washes I've had. Plus and it really looks good but you really don't notice it's there. I even put it around the back of my trunk lid on my traverse. I'm just amazed it's never come off.
