It looks fancy but it’s complicated with no real reason to be that complicated it is not easy to close, and because of that it’s not easy to transport, so far seems fine with the wind. Not really worth the extra money though.

Umbrella has auto eject button that works great, weirdly it does automatically flip in the wrong direction the first time but after folding up and pushing back out it comes back right. It’s easier to fold up and re-bag if it’s flipped out too! It is durable and hold up great in all weather, just little quirks to get it up and back in the bag.

I have been really curious about these inverted umbrellas so I finally ordered this one.I ordered the beige color and I think it looks nice. The “wrapper” and the rain-facing side of the umbrella are both beige and the downward-facing side of the umbrella is black. The handle is a nice wood (or a very convincing faux wood) and it has a little leather-like strap. Overall the look is nice! The first time that I used it, it didn’t open quite properly so I closed it up and tried again. The second time was a charm and it has opened normally ever since then. The button does take a little bit of oomph to press it, but when it does get enough pressure, the umbrella deploys very quickly! The umbrella’s diameter is normal - smaller than a golf umbrella but good coverage for one adult. There is a reflective strip along the bottom outer edge of the umbrella and I think that is particularly important for visibility/safety (especially since beige isn’t exactly a day-glo color). I took a picture with flash and without flash to show how shiny the strip is.One thing that is a little unusual (but not bad) is the material - if you look at the pictures of the inside of the umbrella, it is a little shiny - it seems like more of a rubberized material, not the fabric that I’m accustomed to seeing on umbrellas. It doesn’t leak though, and that’s what counts.I do find that when it is time to close the umbrella up, it has so much material that it is a little difficult to get the closure strip all the way around so the Velcro can fasten. Similarly, once the strip is wrapped around it, getting the wrapper over it is also a bit of a challenge, but I figured out a trick to make it go a little faster - once I have all the pointy parts inside the wrapper, then I twist the umbrella in a spiral direction as I pull the wrapper over it and it goes really smoothly at that point. I don’t think that either of those are worth taking points off so I’m giving it the full 5 stars. Now I just need to wait for a good test rain… So far we’ve had plenty of drizzle, which didn’t let me test its ability to keep the water from going all over when I get in the car. We also had a good strong rain this week, but it came with a tornado warning. While I recognize that would have been an excellent test of how it does in wind, I’m just not THAT dedicated… sorry folks. When we get a heavy rain without the twister, I’ll update my review and let you all know how great it is to stay dry all the way to the car AND still stay dry once I get in and pull the umbrella in after me.

The design needs a bit of work. The umbrella is actually pretty heavy and the strap attached to the handle is a little too small to put your hand through. There isn't a vent so strong gusts of wind really pull on the umbrella.Once the ribs were pulled in the opposite direction, due to strong gusts, it began opening that way.In order to fit the umbrella back into the bag/pouch, you must be meticulous with the folds. It almost doesn't fit back inside.Amazing for sun protection. I'm assuming rain as well.Reflective material on the rim is a nice safely feature.

This is a surprisingly nice little umbrella. The handle is very smooth and so is the mechanism. It’s easy to extend and retracts well. There is a bit of strength required for the retraction but once it clicks, it locks easily and well. One thing: I consider myself an expert umbrella folder. Yes, yes it’s a thing even if in my own mind. This one is a bit tricky. Because of the inversion, it’s difficult to get it smooth enough for it to slip back into the protective cover. I suspect that I am going to discard the cover sooner rather than later. The time it takes isn’t worth it. By the same token, I am going to be annoyed if the colour on the canopy gets bruised (or the canopy itself gets torn) because the cover isn’t on. If the cover were a half inch wider in diameter at the mouth (or all over), this wouldn’t be an issue.I’ll still give it 5 stars because the umbrella is really good.

This umbrella in particular is not your ordinary umbrella. It folds differently and going upwards. Sometimes, it does not open properly and you have to close it again open again. But once it opens up, the size is very good. Not that small nor so big. The handle seems very durable where the mechanism of the automatic opening hides. Since the closing is upwards, you don't get wet when you close and only drip it when you turn it upside down. I like this idea and love this concept.

This umbrella is well made and feels sturdy in hand. The solid wood handle adds both durability and a touch of elegance, while the opening mechanism operates smoothly and reliably. One standout feature is the reflective edge—an intelligent design choice that enhances visibility in low-light conditions, which is especially useful for a dark-colored umbrella. Overall, I’m very pleased with the quality and functionality of this product.
