The pattern/picture is on the inside only. The outside is plain black. I guess I thought the pattern would be on both sides, but it is still a nice umbrella.I haven't tested it in extreme wind yet, but it handles nicely in the rain.I love that it opens and closes with the touch of a button, my last umbrella was manual so this makes me feel kind of spoiled.The canopy opens and the handle extends by pressing the button on the handle. Pressing the button again closes the canopy but shortening the handle has to be done manually.

I have many other G4free umbrellas. They are all good, durable and work fine.This is a mid size compact umbrella that can be used by two people. Quite compact when folded. The reflective edges give extra protection during the reduced aight distance during rain event. Withstands quite a lot of wind. Opens and closes easily. Second press to the opening button collapses the umbrella which is very useful when getting in to a car. The internal artwork gives a nice lift during the depressed gray skies. I liked it.

Good size but need a button, as have had velcro previously and it catches everything!

I ordered this umbrella to give to my teenager to put on her school backpack in case it rains on the way into or out of school. She decided it was a little heavy, so I gave her my smaller one and put this one into my work backpack that I use in my commute. I’ve had opportunity to use it three times since I ordered it and I can confirm that it does not flip in the wind. So I’m really glad about that. It’s also beautiful on the inside. Definitely better than looking at the clouds with the actual rain. Now the thing that I took one star away for – it’s a bit heavy. I do agree with my teenager. While technically still less and weight a full size umbrella, this one is relatively bulky and heavy for being a small one. My back is feeling the added weight during the commute. Keep this in mind if you are ordering it because while it is small, it is heavy, but I suppose that can also be considered a testament to quality of construction.
