Points for attention:

4. Before loading food, open the lid of the container and clean the drum. The pond feeder is only suitable for pellet feed(d≤9mm). Otherwise, it may get stuck and not work properly.

I had to buy something to feed my koi while away for two weeks so purchased this feeder, set it up for the right amount per day and when we returned the feeder was empty, it worked perfectly. The koi were happy to sit underneath it waiting to be fed so knew what was coming. I have removed it since, cleaned and stored the feeder now ready for the next time away, would definitely recommend this feeder and will most likely buy another as my koi collection is growing.

This automatic feed can be limited to a narrow feed or a bigger feed as needed. You can also have it feed infrequently or twice a day. The hatch covers the food when it is not rotating, and I believe this will keep the food from getting gummed up.

timer is not easy to set and it only put ut a little bit of food so not good if you have a lot of fish

Der Vorteil an dem Gerät ist, es lässt sich kinderleicht programmieren, im Prinzip wie ein Wecker.Nach einer Woche in Benutzung ist alles in Ordnung. Die vier Fütterungszeiten sind auch ausreichend je nachdem wie groß der Fischbesatz im Teich ist.Selbst großes Futter wie Seidenraupen verteilt der Automat problemlos.

I used this on my 10 gal aquarium while on a 13 day vacation. The other auto feeder that I tried another time let too much moisture in and caked the flakey food to the point that none was coming out. I got this one and changed to a pellet food to be safe. When I came home, I could tell that it was dropping too much food, even on a low setting because the water was really dirty and the food was completely empty. BUT no fish were dead! I would much rather accidentally over feed my fish than let them starve.
