This really isn't a 5 star product. There are some issues. For one the voltmeter is not accurate. It's off by .3v and it's very cheaply made. Would not stand up to abuse. The cord is nice but the grounding clip is super cheap. The meter moves around in the housing and is not sealed or fixed in position. It does work and does do reverse polarity but that's it. THIS DOES NOT DO 120V DO NOT USE IT FOR AC VOLTAGE OR 120V. It's a 12v tested that's advertised as 5-90v DC not 120v and not a AC probe. The packaging has some misprinting and misleading claims.

Not the highest quality but a perfect tool to have for checking continuity on wires. I like the digital read out instead of just a light. The pointed tip is handy for checking fuses in a car.The digital reader is easy to read and the unit works well. It’s just made of inexpensive plastic, but should last a long time with proper care. Perfect to have in the toolbox.

This test light is super easy to use and really helpful with automotive electrical diagnostic work. The probe is sharp and sturdy, so it makes good contact without any fuss. I like the color indicators that show positive or negative.It feels comfortable to hold and works great for all the basic electrical stuff I’ve needed to do. Definitely a solid tool to have if you’re working on cars.

Circuit testers are all the same, right? Nope... this one is actually wonderful because it has a built in voltmeter. I like the bright digital display and even has a green and red light to indicate polarity. The traditional style bulb is usually very dim and hard to see - especially if they are rated for higher voltage than 12v. I also like how it has a small "holster" for you to put the sharp tip of the probe into so it doesn't poke through anything including your skin when not in use. It is easier to using this than getting out the bulky multimeter with the tangled wires then trying to find a clamp. If you know what I'm talking about then you need this circuit tester.

This Automotive Tester Works Great! It reads the voltage fast and accurate, the light is bright and not faint, and its easy to use! The cord and test rod is a really great length.In my opinion, this tester is so helpful and so much easier to use and learn automotive basics compared to other common fuse readers Ive used in the past, such as a multimeter.I at first was testing clamping onto my negative battery terminal, and that was not working. Then I realized I had to clamp the test light clip onto my positive battery terminal, for the tester to work.

I am super happy with this test light since it can handle very high voltages not just 12 volt like so many other testers. This can handle 120 volts DC along with 12 and 24 volt systems. It is handy to see the actual voltage as well as if it is positive or negative. When positive it has a green light and when negative the light is red. The display also displays the actual voltage you are testing. This is a very nice quality tester that works well. I would order this again and recommend it to others. A good value tester for any tool collection. This also includes a rubber cap for the probe tip.

This is a really handy tester - great for checking fuses in the car (just touch the bare metal tips on each end of the fuse), for testing battery voltage, for hunting down broken wires. For me, I used to verify battery voltage on a car that wouldn't crank - 13V at the battery, 10V during the crank, but only 6.1 at the starter. Bad battery terminal connections, clean, and she spun right over. The LED display is bright, but I found myself having to spin the tester to be able to read the display - it always seemed to be facing my palm. You can see in the photo how bright it is in broad daylight.
