The top brass main jet part of the solenoid broke instantly upon threading into the carb. Looks to have had a crack in the material. Replaced with the original so I could get the tractor running. Would not recommend purchasing if you require the pilot jet part of this setup.

Works exactly as you would expect. Slightly different then OEM but function is the same.

The solenoid swap was going well until I tried to screw it into the bottom of the carburetor bowl. It wouldn't go in. I took the plunger and spring out, and it screwed right in. I put the plunger and spring back in; still wouldn't. I then compared the part I took off with the new one. The 'tail' of the new plunger was about 1.5mm too long. It was bottoming out on the bottom of the well in the solenoid. So, I swapped out the old plunger for the new one, kept the new spring, and it went right in. I snugged it down, hooked up the power line (straight swap) and turned the new switch 'on'. I heard the solenoid click. I pulled the choke out, the mower turned over twice and fired. I moved the throttle up to about half, pushed the choke in, and moved the throttle back and forth between idle and full. Complete function. I almost scrapped the tractor and it was all due to the OEM solenoid being bad.
