These work great! I hooked them up and they started working within seconds. Nice clear picture with virtually no latency. We use them to have a remote TV in another room and with one cable we have it. The POC is dang near required anymore so you can hang a TV on a wall and only have one power connection. The only thing I would love to see is that these are USB powered, and/or you can power the units from either the sender or receiver. By doing that it would allow someone to have a remote camera somewhere and get the video back to the switcher/TV. But other than that little thing, they are great.

Zero issues, and I'm kinda surprised it worked with the first Ethernet cable I tried. Does 1080@60Hz without any problem.Good solution for our guest PC. We have the PC's HDMI-out piped into a splitter, and then piped into this extender so that we can play split-screen games on a TV all the way across the room - which'd be way too long of a distance with a regular HDMI cable.

I got this to facilitate a requirement to run HDMI over a distance of around 30metres. And it does the job perfectly well. The kit consists of a transmitter, as receiver and one power supply. The power supply provides power to the transmitter (although they call it a 'sender' in this set) and the receiver gets power from the transmitter via the ethernet cable. It is therefore important to use a good quality ethernet cable, which you really should anyway to ensure the best possible communication between both devices. One slight downside to this set is that it only supports up to 1080p resolution, i.e. not 4K, so you need to bear that in mind. For my purposes, 1080p was sufficient. It works really well, with no issues in terms of connectivity or picture breakups.A good value solution to extending HDMI over lengthy distances.

This HDMI extender works great. I used it to send my Security camera recorders HDMI signal directly to my office instead of viewing over a network. It send the signal with no latency. It is very easy to install and takes no time at all for the two sides to negotiate with each other. The fact that only the sender device requires a power adapter is great and a major upgrade from previous HDMI extenders I have used. The device forwards EDID information so you receiving device knows what resolution and refresh rate is being sent and can configure itself automatically. Overall this is way better than other HDMI extenders I have used.

The Aveo HDMI extender utilizes the use of a CAT5/6 ethernet cable to extend HDMI signals without the use of long HDMI cable with repeater. it eases deployment of HDMI at home especially if you have LAN or ethernet ports available.Build: 4.5 Stars- the item is made from steel case that also acts as a heatsink for long use or operation. it is small enough not to be distracting to the eye especially if using in an open environment.- there are no HDMI loop or bypass to provide option in connecting to another monitor.- it comes with only one adapter for the receiver. This is to amplify the HDMI signals that might have already degraded due to length.Functionality: 4 Stars- For me, I use it for setting up live stream cameras using HDMI. Using ethernet cable as opposed to thick, long HDMI cables is better as it is easy to manage tape to avoid hazards.- I recommend using CAT6 cable to extend more and avoid glitching of the signal. Even though the specs says it can be used to upto 60M, I find the HDMI video unstable after around 40-50M. I would recommend the length to be 35M-45M instead. Using CAT5 will lessen this to around 25-35M.Overall, I recommend this item for extending your HDMI. it is cheaper compared to buying long HDMI cables and it is very easy to install and use. Ethernet cables are less messy and lighter to carry along than HDMI cables.

This is marketed to only work with cat6 or better from my understanding, but works perfectly fine over Cat5/Cat5e. It would have been great if these came with adapters to power them with, but just a cord equipped with a USB-A on the other end for power. Picture quality seems to be crispy without all the choppy audio to ruin it. Most of these things usually have great picture or great sound, but not both at the same time or video not properly sync'd with the audio... This one seems to be doing good for now. But as I've learned over the years, longevity is key. Let's see how long that it lasts!!!

Alright so quick explanation of what this device is for, its rather simple. This allows you to take a video source that outputs over HDMI and run it over an Ethernet cable up to 60Meter/196FT run of Cat5E or greater Ethernet Cable. It comes with a transmitter and a receiver and 1 AC Adapter. The reason there is a single AC Adapter is because you plug that in to power the transmitter and the receiver is powered by the same AC Adapter over Ethernet aka Power over Ethernet or POE. Not sure why the company calls this POC technology. Also I have tested and validated that a Cat6 or Cat7 cable is not needed. All specs for this are basic Cat5E, that being said you can use those cables if you have them.So the resolution limit for this device is 1080P 60hz. It truly is zero latency delay. You cannot tell that this device is in between the source and the display. The price is right for this device and it makes it easy to get video output across devices that cannot be in the same room. For example I am using this with a Microscope that I have no room for on my desk, but now I can set it up in the other room and leverage the Ethernet lines that are run to each room to share the video feed with my monitor. Just for kicks I did try this with a couple gaming consoles and they all worked as well.If you need a higher resolution or refresh rate this company also makes these to support 4K 60hz, 4K 120hz and even 8K and they are available on Amazon as well. Pros:1 - Easy installation2 - Stable picture3 - Great transmission range4 - Power over EthernetComments:So how does it work? Perfectly! The picture has far less noise than my passive solution had provided and the picture is rock solid stable. With the passive solution, the picture would frequently drop causing the projector to cycle through its inputs before coming back to HDMI but I experienced absolutely no dropout issues with this kit. This is an absolutely wonderful kit and I highly recommend it.TLDR;This Ethernet transmitter and receiver kit comes with a transmitter, a receiver and a power adapter. They're labeled on the units themselves so that you won't put the wrong one at the wrong end. Both of the units have a jack for the power adapter and it doesn't matter which one you plug the adapter into because the other side will get its power over the Ethernet cable. For my setup, I was using the old style passive Ethernet extension which required two 50 foot Ethernet cables. Although the kit specifies CAT 6, I already had CAT 5E cables installed so I decided to use what I already have before buying more cable. The 50 foot CAT 5E cable had no problem transmitting a stable signal between my receiver and my 1080p DLP projector. There is a red light on the receiver module that indicates that it has power and a green light that indicates that it is receiving a signal from the transmitter.Setup took about fifteen minutes mainly because I have a complex home theater system but most people should be able to do it in well under five minutes. The transmitter and receiver are about 30% larger than the passive units they replaced but are built with well shielded metal cases. I was pleased that they were not cheap plastic cases. Some care was also taken to label them with large and somewhat stylish lettering. Thanks for reading.

Set up quickly with a single Cat6 run. Signal stayed strong with no visible drop in quality at 1080p/60Hz. POC power means only one side needs wall power, which is convenient. Small footprint, easy to hide behind devices. Great solution for remote monitor setups or cleaner TV installations, and honestly is a lot cheaper than long HDMI is either way - especially for a pretty long run. And making ethernet cables is a heck of a lot easier, too.

Setting up this HDMI extender was straightforward; I connected the cables, and it began functioning almost immediately. The picture quality at 1080P@60Hz appears clear, and the audio seems synchronized, which is a definite plus. I appreciate the Power over Cable feature, as it simplifies the setup by only requiring a power connection at the sender unit. It allowed me to relocate a video source to another room without much fuss. However, I did encounter some inconsistencies with the advertised transmission distance. While shorter cable runs worked without issue, I experienced signal degradation when approaching the stated maximum length, even with quality CAT6 cabling. Also, the presence of a power port on the receiver unit, despite the instructions indicating it's unnecessary, is a bit perplexing and could lead to confusion. Furthermore, using couplers to extend the cable runs did not yield positive results in my testing. Overall, for basic HDMI extension over shorter distances, this product performs adequately.

At first I thought it was missing a power cable... it wasn't! It turns out that although the receiver has a power socket on it, you don't need to use it. So why is there a power socket on the receiver? I think my biggest frustration with the power though is that it doesn't use USB on the device itself. As a result you have to use a proprietary power cable rather than just any off-the-shelf USB cable. More to lose, more pain if the cable fails. On to the positives, the plus side is that you only need to power the receiving end. This is brilliant because it means you don't have to worry about power cables at the receiver. I'm all for one less power block getting in the way. But that does mean it is limited to HD resolution levels, high res would need local power at the receiver based upon other devices i've tried. The units themselves are small and neat. Transmission was perfect over the cable run between my CCTV and my screen. No glitching or issues.
