Very easy to install. The ratchet straps are quality, ( I wouldn't trust them to strap down anything heavy but they work for kayaks and canoes.) I recommend using a ratcheting wrench to install.

The first day we used the rack the bar bent while on the highway and we have to pull over to try to bend it back because it was mailing the kayak fall over. Not worth the money. Wish I didn’t purchase. I forgot to take picture of it on the kayak when it was up and bet over because it looked worse.

This carrier is very easy to install and does a great job at securing your kayak. It is built very well and the foam is good quality. The included straps and rope tie downs work great. Overall a great product worth every penny.
