Not only was it hard to get a fuel Sample on the Cessna 172 and BROKE after 3 months. My ASA one lasted much longer, getting another one.The return window is so short, it's to late for me. DON'T BUY THIS FRAGILE CRAP

I initially chose this sump container because its sleek design caught my eye, and I thought it would be a great addition to my setup. Unfortunately, I let aesthetics take precedence over quality, which turned out to be a significant mistake. While it looked impressive at first, the materials used in this container quickly revealed themselves to be subpar.Despite my careful handling and relatively light use, the container began to deteriorate far sooner than expected. The materials started to break down, and it became clear that durability was sacrificed for the sake of appearance. It’s disappointing to see something that looked so promising crumble so quickly.In hindsight, I should have prioritized sturdiness and long-lasting construction over appearance. If you’re considering this product, I strongly recommend looking for an option made with higher-quality materials, even if it doesn’t have the same visual appeal. Unfortunately, this container just doesn’t hold up over time.

Used this for a few months now and have not had any issues. I like the slim design and the flexible cup on the top.

Worked pretty well before it broke, nice to have on an especially windy day. A bit tricky to get one of the more recessed fuel sumps on the belly of the Cessna.The main problem is the blue TPU printed piece broke after only using it a couple of times. not super durable only having a single layer width print. Probably speeds up the printing cycle but feels like something that should be doubled up or molded as a single piece.When the piece breaks it kind of defeats the whole purpose of having this fuel checker in the first place. Would be appreciated if there were spare tpu pieces included since it seems like it is a frequent occurance

Like many others, the blue accordion piece separated far too quickly. I contacted the email on the side of the tester and was sent two replacements within a day. Obviously there is a need for a version two to address the separation issues but if you are careful with the tester there isn't a huge risk of separation. If it does happen though the seller is quick to respond.

I really like this fuel tester. Just the right size and I like that it has a splash guard. That said, the splash guard broke after about a month of use. Would still probably buy it again.

Great little device! This is a useful iteration from the basic cup-and-pin. Sumping a high-wing in gusty winds isn't an annoyance with this, because of the blue wind shield. The tester has a large capacity, and it's easy to carry it around between sump sites without spilling a drop.I am worried that the blue wind screen may not be durable long term, but it's been fine so far this year. I do wish the clear plastic tube were a bit thicker and rugged feeling.Overall, very happy with this.
