This thing is great. I eat a lot of avocados. I like to smash them and put them on my toast. This device cuts them, pits them, slices them and mashes them. I no longer need a bunch of other utinsils to do this.

This 3 in 1 avocado tool is a must have for anyone who likes avocados. The knife cuts without being too sharp; the stainless steel pitting tool fits pits of all sizes; and the slicing end facilitates even slicing of the avocado for sandwiches, wraps, toast, etc. It is extremely easy to clean, and it's elongated style fits well in my utensil drawer. Other avocado tools that I have had are bulky at one end, making them difficult to store.

Avocados have to be ripe for the pit to come out either tool. But I use this all the time, love it. Very handy

Just note that the knife looks like plastic but feels like metal and it doesn't fold in anywhere so you'll have a sharp object hanging around your kitchen. It's sharp there, and around the rim of the pitting circle. So be careful. Really glad I got this, because otherwise avocados are tough to deal with.
