Made me think I was getting back everything I was used to after the original radio broke and replaced with a pioneer. Wrong I don't understand how no one has said what I am about to say. The chimes are not that of the original truck 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500. They are a different noise altogether the back up is completely different with sound and how close I get before it starts beeping. How does no one else anywhere say this? Everything on the listing says get all your factory stuff back with this item but it's not true at least for me. The Sirius XM is a joke it only displays on the tiny screen that shows info like odometer reading there is no info that will display on the radio itself yes it's a xm ready radio . Just why? I was sold on that I would have my factory settings. So now I have to buy the XM antenna to get the controllers on my radio wtf 😒. Sirius XM radio ready for what? Buy this product and it's supposed to work and it works in an incredibly dumb way. Whos factory car from 2011 showed the titles on the tiny odometer screen and never on the radio for Sirius?. This is not factory to mine so what the heck is that crap about. To say the least I'm ticked off that I have to buy the xm antenna and box take everything apart for the 3rd time to get Sirius displayed on the radio screen. When my understanding was this part was supposed to let me use my XM which it did in the mostest stupidest way that was not original to my truck. This was supposed to give me back my original settings. So in other words if you buy a new radio and use XM you need the radio this harness to get chimes that's won't sound like your original chimes and buy the XM adapter with the antenna . Your probably looking at $500 if your doing all the work yourself. Insane how not one person tells of what I think are major issues since it's sold as if your getting all your OEM sounds and display settings. This is a joke and should not cost this much since it's absolutely not what is advertised. $135 and I got my steering wheel control back and my chimes that sound nothing or function like the factory ones. To get Sirius to working in a realistic way is an extra cost now. $135 to now spend another $60 on the XM thing and since money grows on trees I'll spend another $40 on a back up camera.

I had problems maintaining the Bose factory amp with other products. After I installed this it worked great right away and sounds perfect. All sounds work as they should and steering wheel controls work as advertised.

Used this kit in a 2014 GMC Acadia Denali, replacing the factory radio. It made the swap super easy, retained the Bose speakers and amplifiers, and kept all the factory chimes. The only flaw is that the backup distance sensors don't give the same audio alerts, so you kind of lose that function. But otherwise a great product.

Everything seems to work great except the SWC, will try playing with it more to get them working. Installed in a 2007 SRX with Bose surround, no NAV. Connected to an Eonon Q03pro head unit. Only thing not mentioned in the instructions is the second pair of rear speaker wires(x2 green, x2 purple). It says to disregard these wires but they were essential in getting sound to the rear. Overall very happy as it was much cheaper here than anywhere else by far.

Only 4 star because it's a headache to get everything working. If you be patient all the functuions will work, on my install, warnings chimes returned, Onstar (not subscribed) is working, XM receiver is working, turn signal clicks are working, backup sensors, steering wheel controls are all working on 2011 Silverado. Most importantly GM-LAN error codes disappeared from BCM.If you have an android chinese radio your steering wheel buttons may not work initially. Make sure you program the GMLN29 radio brand to #8 Visteon. Do not connect radios' 3.5mm jack to GMLN29 jack. Instead use the female 3.5mm jack that comes in this package and connect the brown/white wire to radios SWC 1 wire and connect the brown wire to SWC 2 wire of the android radio and connect GMLN29 male jack to this female jack, then go to radio steering wheel button settings and custom program your keys. If you get no response from the buttons while in radios programming screen then swap the wires of the female jack and try it again. It will start working.
