This is a nice and well made little pulley. The finish is great, bearings are great. It turns easily. My son has taken it over, making different lifts and swings for his clubhouse. He's really liked it. It's easy to get the rope on and off, easy to use a big hook to clip into. It's a great little pulley and has provided hours of creative fun so far.

This is good when I'm top-roping, especially with people who aren't used to climbing or rappelling. I wouldn't use it in situations where I might be in a position to fall. It doesn't have a bearing, but it does spin freely. It's also good for a 12 or 13mm rope.The down side is that this doesn't pivot. It's a rigid casting, so you can't swivel one side to more easily get a rope on it, the swivel it back and clip in.
