This little thermometer is a game changer for bath time. It floats in the water and gives a quick and clear temperature reading in both Fahrenheit and Celsius, so there's no guessing if the water is too hot or too cold. Itโs small, easy to use, and makes bath time safer, which is a huge plus. It also looks like a toy, so babies wonโt mind it floating around. I think the readings are pretty accurate, and it gives you peace of mind knowing the water is just right. If you have a newborn or a toddler, this is definitely worth having.

This thermometer is well-sealed and floats well. It works within a degree or two compared to another one (I suppose it depends also on how good the reference thermometer is). Easy to set up. The display is large and easy to read. The otter is cute and makes a good bath toy when not needed as a thermometer.

I ordered this polar bear baby bath thermometer to use not only in the bathtub but also in the babyโs room. When in water, the red or blue light will blink, depending on whether the temperature of the water is too hot or too cool for ideal bath water. When itโs not in the water, the lights do not blink. You have the ability to change the preset thresholds, but I am content with what was preset. The only issue I had was it would not turn on initially, so I removed the battery compartment door, took the batteries out, put them back in place, and then it worked. Maybe one of the batteries was slightly askew initially?This is made of hard plastic, and I have seen others made of a more rubbery material which would be gentler if baby leaned on the floating thermometer, but since I am always by the babyโs side during bath time, Iโm not concerned about that.I think the design is super cute, it works like it should, and itโs a good value at under $10.

It's been great - used it a few times now. The blue blinking light on it is super helpful to see when the water is getting too cold (especially if you are trying to bathe a newborn by yourself and don't have a free hand to pick up the thermometer to read the temperature). Also if the water is too warm the light blinks red.It works well and feels well made. Great idea for a baby shower gift.

I love taking baths during the winter, but I used to struggle with getting the water temperature just right. Hand checks were often unreliable, leaving me with water that was either too hot or too cold once I submerged. Thatโs where this bath temperature gauge has been a total game changer.After using it almost daily for several weeks, I can say itโs a must-have. The thermometer automatically activates when placed in the water and provides an accurate reading within about 60 seconds. It displays the temperature to one decimal place and includes flashing lights if the reading falls outside the user-determined range. While the upper limit is capped at 104ยฐF (and I prefer my baths closer to 105โ107ยฐF), the visual cue is still a helpful reminder.I also appreciate its simplicityโno need to turn it on or off, as it handles everything automatically. The playful otter design, clearly aimed at youngsters, is charming even for adults like me. The little guy swims around the bath while I'm relaxing. As a bonus, it also reads ambient air temperature when out of the bath, which is a nice extra feature.So far, itโs proven completely waterproof and highly durable, holding up beautifully through more than 30 uses. Iโm thrilled with the quality and performance and plan to keep enjoying it for years to come. 5 stars without hesitation!

Don't have babies anymore but my grade school kids thought this was too cute. I'm at the very beginning of some neuropathy issues and I trust this more than my hands or feet to check the water temperature. It came with the button cell batteries installed and ready to go. Just drop in the water, give it a few moments and read. There's a button on the back to toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit. Using this couldn't be easier and at under $10 it was well worth the price.

This bath thermometer is perfect for ensuring the water temperature is just right when bathing little ones. We chose this one specifically because our children love otters, so it was a fun fit for us.In terms of accuracy, it was only about 1 degree off from the thermometer I use for cooking, which is close enough to ensure the bath water is at a safe temperature. Iโd definitely recommend this for anyone looking to check that the water is safe for their little ones.

I like this bath thermometer way more then the one I had prior. Its digital and seems accurate. my son enjoys splashing and trying to grab it also. only gave 4 stars for the "paint job" we ill see how long it looks like an otter and last. feels cheap.
