So good to change all my valve pads and springs!!! My trumpet feels knew again - no more clacking. This is a great kit and a better price than buying the individual items.

Not all of the pieces fit my Bach T200. Too pricy all things considered. It included rubber valve cap washer instead of felt. Slide snake is metal. Ugh! Order parts separately and you may have better luck.

Purchased a used 1960s trumpet off Craigslist. Didn't want to pay a lot of money to get it professionally restored, so I purchased this kit. It worked great. My daughter was able to use the trumpet in her school jazz band all year.

I must rate this Bach Trumpet Care Kit 4 stars because one item is missing from the package I received,the trumpet mouthpiece brush. However not big problem for me since I do have several mouthpiece brushes. Might be a problem if some customers need that brush.I mainly was interested in the valve oil,valve cap pads and valve springs which are all in the pak. The trumpet snake is also very helpful as are the three type cloths for lacquer finish and silver plate finish trumpets.Good practice to change valve springs about once a year and getting them new is great because at the local music shop here Rayburns all they have is a box of old springs and if you ask them for new springs they say pick out what you want from the box of who knows what springs that are old and used from trumpets brought to the shop!Yes I would recommend this Bach Care Kit to any trumpet player but beware trumpet mouthpiece brush may not be there.While I am here I ask why do brick and mortar stores "real" local stores abuse their customers with bad service like Rayburns when they are surely losing customers to internet buying options? Guess they are so rich they don't care.

Purcahsed this kit to make a repair/cleaning my Bach Strat. It comes with all the components for simply parts replacements such as spit value cork (only 1 by the way-could use a couple more), spit value replacement spring (unwound-you need to bend it yourself so if you don't know how, have a professional repair person do it), snake brush, valve springs with plastic & rubber fittings for the piston valves, valve oil, two types of silver polish cloths, mouthpiece brush, slide grease, replacement lock value for third valve w/screw bolts, and cloth rod. It's a few dollars cheaper than the music stores. I clean my horn every year, so this purchase was a replacement for the cleaning items I've had for about 15+ years. Since I've also kept my Strat in great condition anyway, I only really use the new cloths, spit valve cork, snake, oil, and springs. Otherwise, this is a good kit to keep in your case for years to come. You could buy the individual parts but as a package this is more of an inexpensive choice. The cork is hard to find by itself and sometimes you have to send it to an actual repair shop to replace the cork/spit valve spring. Since I know how to do this, it is cheaper for me to do it this way. I would have liked to see a better carrying bag for the items in this kit but it's not a big deal. I am happy with this purchase.
