The only downside I would say for this is that it doesn't really come with any instructions on how to play. It's rather easy to put together and you can use it as a ring toss game, but you pretty much are making up your own rules as it goes.

This ring toss game is simple, but still provides a good amount of fun. Installation was as easy and screwing some pegs onto the wooden base. The one caveat about this ring toss game is that the rings are made of rope and don't keep their shape when thrown; so it requires a specific type of throw to keep the rope separated enough to maintain the ring shape. I didn't prefer that choice, but it did change the way the game is approached, which in a way made that fun as well.

The middle screw wouldn't work so it wouldn't go together and it was very small

I ordered #Tulyra Backyard Games, Ring Toss Game, Upgraded Battle Game with Exclusive Score Keeper for our lake house. We tend to spend a lot of time outside and I wanted to have some games that would keep us entertained.The ring toss game assembly is rather easy, it is well constructed with solid wood and overall sturdy. Once the kids and adults started to play the fun really started. The game started it did not stop for hours on end. We played and laughed and at times laughed so hard we cried.We kept score and competed. Created teams and winners emerged with the gold, silver and bronze medal cards that were provided. We created our family. We are all talking about our next competition. Can't wait.The game is stored away in the carrying bag it came with waiting for our next competiton. I recommend this game as a gift too!

The sticks and base seems to be made of solid wood, and feels heavier than I thought. Very good build quality with a lot of accessories. Kids had a fun time with it, and it happens to be one of the popular toys that many kids choose to play when we have party at home.

I like the wood base and scoring posts. Those are well made and are easy to put together and take apart.The rings are not as good. I was expecting stiffened ropes so they would stay in a ring. That was not the case and so the size of the opening varied from ring to ring. This limited how I could throw it so the rope would expand out and increase chances of landing on a post. I tried to pull one ring into shape and pulled the rope part way out of the handle (pic 2). I'm not saying this is a design issue, but if two people get into a tug-of-war, or a dog won't let go, these rings may not hold up.There are no rules given. you set it up however you want. You determine how far away to toss. You determine how long to play.I didn't quite understand the purpose of the cards. There are 10 of each point value. Seems it would be easier to have a pad, pen, and a scorekeeper. Where do you keep the cards you collect? In your pocket? What if no pockets? Let someone else hold them? Set the cards down and let a wind gust blow them away? How does anyone know who is in the lead if everyone is keeping their own score?Then there are cards when game is over for Gold, Silver, Bronze, and Participation. What do you do with these once you pass them out? If you play again, they have to give those cards back. If they keep them for a while there is a likelihood to get lost.So overall, the only thing I really liked was the base with the scoring pegs.

I bought this game for tailgating, but end up with our kids are addicted to it. Great game. The quality is very good for the bucks. Definitely recommend!
