This chalk is great! It seems like finer, smoother, more velvety chalk. It's sticks to my tip for a good long while. I can run the table without worrying about re-chalking. It's very comparable to the Predator chalk but in the square shape so I can put it in any of my chalk holders. Superior to Master chalk by 10 times, easily.

For Balabushka name and the price of the chalk, the quality is very poor. The corners are crumbling and one was not drilled in the center (it was to one side).

Applies nicely and gives good cue ball control. Not an expert but feels better than Masters.

I like this chalk quite a bit. I think that the quality between this and Predator are roughly the same, both being leagues above "bar chalk" as I'll call it. It stays on the tip better than bar chalk and doesn't require as frequent chalking.However, this is great because not only is it less messy than Predator, which also makes it last longer, but it fits into retractable chalk holders (though it's a bit bigger than regular chalk so it takes a little work). I forget my chalk on the table if I don't have something but am too clutzy for the magnetic holders, and the stick-type pocket holders (all that is available for Predator) fall out of my pockets constantly. I end up losing both my Predator chalk and the holder itself, which gets expensive quickly. I tried to put the Predator chalk in the retractable holders but it is smaller (due to the octagonal shape) than regular chalk and so it falls out of them. I don't feel like wrapping each chalk in duct tape to get it to stay in, which is why I switched to this.I also like that the box is sturdy.

Balabushka chalk is amazing and affordable. In my opinion, it works just as well as the Blue Diamond chalk but it lasts much longer and you get an extra cube of chalk for the same or similar price as Blue Diamond.

Not as good as expected, it is a good chalk...just in my opinion not any better than master...

The Balabushka chalk arrived on time and in excellent shape. The question is it does it perform better than Master chalk that is much cheaper, only time will tell.It seems to adhere to the tip a little longer and is a finer texture. I have not seen much difference between Balabushka and Blue Diamond chalk. I have given both to some of my pool buddies and await their impression. Leo
