This bookstand is very durable as I've been using it to hold my cookbook for the last 2 months. I absolutely love the design and functionality of this book stand. The arms of the book stand seem very high quality as they are made of metal and have a silicon-like cover over the tips. I don't feel like they're going to damage my pages whatsoever.I could see myself using this more than just for cooking and recipes. I could use this at my desk to prop up my paperwork that I sometimes need to copy onto the screen. This is very versatile and could be used for so many different things.Overall this bookstand is a great value and looks beautiful on my kitchen countertop!

I received the Readbliss Bamboo Book Stand – Adjustable & Lightweight Holder for Books, Laptops, and Cookbooks – Perfect for Kitchen or Office, Large 13.2 x 9.3 Inch Size.WHY I ORDERED THIS:- I sometimes read REAL paper page books, instead of eBooks all of the time.- Since I was in my teens, I have had arthritis my hands and wrists, so sometimes it is difficult for me to hold and read a larger sized heavy book, especially old cook books!THE GOOD STUFF ABOUT THIS:- Holds my books very well!- I love how well the metal arms work to keep the pages of my book open.- Really very useful at the kitchen counter, when I am trying to follow a recipe out of one of my old, inherited cookbooks!- I appreciate the vinyl covered tips at the ends of the metal arms, that don't damage the Book pages.- I also like that I can use this Book Stand for my tablets and Kindles too.THE NOT SO GOOD STUFF ABOUT THIS:- For me, at about 4.5 lbs. this Bamboo Book Stand is sort of heavy for me to move around. But I guess that weight can also be a good thing to keep a heavier book in place better.- The Book Stand that I got has it's adjustable back part on it mounted on the main board quite crooked! But it does still sit-up pretty well. I think Quality Control, if there is any, should really have caught this mistake though!CONCLUSION:- I was somewhat disappointed that the construction of the Book Stand that I got was crooked., so 1 Star off for that issue.- For the most part, I do like this Readbliss Bamboo Book Stand.

I work in an office. I’m typing on a computer for much of the day. I also do a lot of research, so I’m frequently referring to documents and/or books. I usually place them on the desk and turn my head and look down on them as I type.And now, I put them on this awesome READBLISS Bamboo Book Stand and it is a game-changer.It’s so much easier when the book/document is standing up and facing me. And it has these handy page holders, so I don’t have to hold down the book pages with my stapler or something. Wow. Why didn’t I get one of these things before?Aside from revolutionizing my workspace with its functionality, this READBLISS Bamboo Book Stand is also very attractively designed. It looks great, and is very sturdy. I really like it. I wish I got this earlier.
