The fit on these was larger than expected. I bought for my 4 year old. He is large for his size, but the elbow pads would not stay up on his arms at all. Didn’t try anything else. They do seem nice and will be great when he is older

These pads are definitely a help to keeping your child from getting banged up all over their arms and legs and knees and of course you must buy a helmet for them to go with it. This is very durable has good padding and is a good value for the money I personally know someone who’s Child skateboarding and he ended up hitting his head with a skull fracture so please take care of your children being insistent upon them wearing safety items

The medium size did fit my 7 year old fine but he is a super skinny kid. For a huskier child I would maybe look for something bigger these seem on the smaller side to me. My son wore these for protection while learning to ride a bike and when combined with a helmet that we already owned, this offered great protection for important areas you don't want getting banged up in falls. It's easy to put on (with Moms help of course). The quality is decent I would say for the price. So far these are holding up just fine. The blue is a nice vibrant shade.

I got this set hoping it would fit my 7 yo, he is 95 lb and 53 inches, the knee and elbow pads don't fit him, they are too small, but the hand guards fit him great. However, the knee and elbow pads do fit an almost 5 yo with some extra room to grow, she is 40 lbs and 40 inches, but the hand guards are too big for her. You can see in the picture that the guard covers her whole hand and just her fingertips stick out the end. So there's no way she could wand her hand to hold the handlebars. My 4 yo is average size, wears a 5-6 T clothes, and my 7yo is bigger, wears a 10-12 husky in clothes if that helps. As far as the pads themselves, they report the pieces they fit were comfortable and seemed secured by the velcro. I like that they are able to be put on without having to slide your arm or leg through an 3xtra strap, it is much easier to just put them on where you want them and tighten with the adjustable velcro. I can't say how well they will hold up to wipe outs, but they look and feel like they would do the job, if they fit. That is why i took off a star, i feel most people are like me and want the whole set to fit, not just parts of it. The price is decent for this product. I hope this info has been helpful.

you can never be too safe with children. I like the wrist, knee, elbow pads. they are easy to put on and fit comfortably on a 5 to 6 year old boy.

Bought two for our kids. I think it just makes them feel better and more comfortable to ride their bicycle.

Purchased 2 sets - one for each child. They were very shock absorbent and durable. My kids use them for ice skating class, biking and roller blading. Highly recommend.

The first set I received was missing the wrist guards so I submitted for an exchange and received the second set before I even had a chance to return the first. It is a good set for a kid who has an interest in riding bikes, skateboards, and/or roller skates. The blue color is vibrant and matches my nephews new bicycle. A much needed set for safety.
