Don't waste your money on this cheap bridge made of scrap wood. Go ahead and spend the $12 to $15 on a good Gold Gate compensated bridge.

My regular bridge is modified - my banjo teacher lowered it to make the action easier. I bought this as a replacement and just keep it in my banjo case to have one available if anything should happen to the original. I don't fancy fixing things on the fly, but it would work in a pinch.

This bridge came cut with 5 slots of identical size instead of the fourth string being cut for bigger strings
