I ordered this battery for my Baofeng 5RM radio. I charged the battery fully, and I when I installed it and powered on the radio, it showed 8.5 volts output. I wanted to see how long the battery would last, so I tuned my radio to receive the local NOAA weather station, which transmits continuously. I also turned on the LED "flashlight" feature that the radio has, in order to use up more battery power. I kept the speaker at about 1/3 volume and just let the radio go all day constantly receiving with the flashlight on. This battery lasted 10 hours and 20 minutes before the radio finally shut off. Now, transmitting uses way more power than receiving does, but even so, I have no doubt that this battery will perform well under "normal" use. What I did in my test isn't normal use - it was designed to tax the battery, and this battery passed with flying colors. As far as fitment, the battery clicked right into place just like the original; no issues. All in all, I'm pleased with the performance from this battery and it earns its 5 stars.

I wanted a backup battery that could be charged from a solar panel while out on long hikes. This fit the bill - it's an exact replacement for the original battery, and I can swap them in seconds. The USB charging is great for plugging into a small solar power bank, and my battery anxiety is alleviated!

This fit my Baofeng UV5RM just the same as the original. Charged right up and works great. I got the second battery because I've heard the Baofeng batteries discharge quickly with use. So far, I haven't noticed that being the case. Could be how I use the radio...your mileage my vary.
