This is one of the best made AC contactors. Three pole means that all the power lines (two hot and one neutral) are cut when AC is not called. It is over kill for most ACs, but at the price, why not? The unit is with very good workmanship and design. When the contactor is energized, the middle button is seen visually pulled down. All three lines tested to be performing well consistently.
