The quality and workmanship of this [roduct is very good. Edges and friction material is very close in specification. Clutch removed from the bike was factory and within tolerance, though still had some slippage at full throttle. This Barnett clutch exceeded expectation, no slippage and grabs really hard out of the launch. Very pleased.

Exactly what I ordered. These plates went in exactly like the original and the clutch is smooth to engage. The ride is much better. Worth the extra.

I installed this clutch pack on my 2000 Yamaha Vstar. I have only been on one short test ride after installing but so far so good. I was a little surprised at how flimsy the friction discs are and how much less friction surface there is when compared to the stock ones. The friction discs are made of aluminum instead of steel like the stock ones. Maybe that is a good thing, I don't know just seems kind of flimsy for a "performance" clutch.

Product is delivered perfectly. Looks ok. Going to install with the sping conversion kit and upgraded spring heavy duty on my 2008 Vstar 1100 silverado. been wanting to do this for some time and found the price right now. Hard to find install directions off web. I got them off another site but did not buy the product there cause they wanted $60 more for the three products. Will update when installed. I also purchased the spring upgrade and conversion kit on ebay because the one on amazon showed a blue part while I now it should be white.update: Installed easy. There is one metal ring that dosen't come off without removing some kind of retaining spring. Most directions I read say no need to replace, so I ended up with a extra metal ring. Install first friction plate and the last ring will be a friction plate. The gears shift easier and quieter. The grab of power to wheel is better. Normally I can't easily get into nuetral from a cold engine, now I can very easily. If your clutch dosen't need replacing I wouldn't run out and get one of these, but if it is this is the one to get.2008 Yamaha Vstar 1100 silverado
