There is a learning curve to learn how to use this agile and unique baseball bat that involves the user getting used to learning first how to use it and then how to use it with much accuracy. Here are some pros and cons.Pros:- The user experience improves much after getting used to its wobbly shape and batting nature.- Two hollow balls are included, although I wish they included more.- Since it is made from thicker, durable plastic, I expect it to last longer than thinner plastic.- My kids who used it found it fun to play with after they got over the learning curve initially. It was a unique batting experience for them.- Comes in three varieties for different age ranges.Cons:- Is not worth more than $100, but yet this costs more than that. It is way too over priced in my opinion.Overall, if you can accept the ultra high price tag, I can see it being a neat tool towards improving batting accuracy and getting younger kids to love baseball.

I'm kind of inbetween 4 and 5 stars.I do like the idea of this, but I don't get the flex or drag that they talk about. I am an adult player and swing my wood bat at about 50mph. So I can get some good velo on this too, but not the flex.It does keep my on my correct path though and is great for warmups before a game.I do use several trainers - swingbat and camwood too, so this is another great too to add to my arsenal.I do wish the handle was a little thicker (closer to a real bat) and that is the only complaint I have.So far so good and will keep using it.

Fantastic tool for building bat speed and improving swing control. The air resistance gives immediate feedback, and the foam balls make it safe for all ages. It’s fun and effective for warmups or practice sessions. A solid investment for hitters looking to level up.

Learning how to use this training bat correctly and accurately was a little hard but once you learn, it does really seem to help with the speed of your bat in a game. The materials are durable and it’s perfect for our 12u baseball team. Not super light but not too heavy for our smaller players

This is a great addition to the warmup options for my son's baseball mix. He's in highschool and travel ball and we added this bat to be another option for using in his training and warm ups. This provides good resistance instead of trying to get a bunch of weights on the bat, or heavier balls to hit. He has enjoyed using it and seems to be working pretty well.

I get the concept of this swing trainer, but overall the sizing didn't match my needs. Purchased this for my two daughters to use, as an alternative for weighted options. Sizing mentions using the Youth for an 8 year old, but this was undersized and didn't offer any measurable resistance.Unless you pick this up for a much smaller player, I'd recommend one of the two options that includes the 3 pineapples. 2 just didn't make a noticeable difference. My girls were just confused what the product was supposed to do and wanted to move on to something else.I can't review how much better 3 pineapples would've performed, but I hope it's meaningful. The idea of not adding heavy weights to younger players is certainly appealing. Resistance from the wind and their own power puts less stress on their bodies and gets toward the same results.Build quality seems solid, with heavier rubbery plastic on the actual bat handle and shaft. The pineapples are made with a sturdy plastic and don't look like they'd cause durability problems.I'm disappointed with the sizing here, as I couldn't get much use out of these before my girls moved on to other equipment. Was hoping it'd bring some variation to our hitting drills, but they just thought it was weird. Going to keep these around to see if others on the team get benefit, but it was a strikeout in our house. As mentioned above, I'd recommend sizing up, no matter how old your athlete. Worst case, they would just have to grow into these a bit. 2 pineapples just felt undersized and any benefit was hard to notice.

My daughter is a second year, 8U softball player and has been taking batting lessons for a couple of months. I am always interested in getting her new tools to help her game and this seemed like simple, but effective concept. At first, its odd looking and had to understand how it helps kids with anything. It does come with some foam balls that work well with the bat. The main thing I learned is that it is teaching them to swing hard, and you can feel the resistance when you are really swinging it.We just started using it, but I do feel that once she gets the real bat in her hands she is swinging harder and following through, but the price is high for what I have seen so far.
