I don't think I'm quite using this as intended, but it is helping me to keep an attic in an old building with few vents (none upstairs connect to AC ducts) from being horrifically hot by drawing up some of the cold air and helping me to get a breeze going. It's just a bit noisy at certain settings, so play with the dial. I like how simple it is to set up and how low profile it is. I had to flip the fan to the other side to get the air current the right direction, easy to accomplish with a philips head screwdriver, installed (I zip tied it perpendicularly to the existing grate), and plugged it in within 15 minutes. Started to see a difference in temperature within an hour.
