Does it work? Yes. Is it well made. Relatively speaking, yes. But I honestly dont know why this thing costs as much as it does. It is a weatherized rectangular canvas bag in roughly the shape of a basketball hoop base. It has one zipper on the front and two clips to hold it in place. It will fit plenty of sandbags to hold your basketball hoop in place. But that's it. The canvas seems to have a nice coating over it for more rugged weather, but I don't think it stands out as an exceptional quality product deserving the price.

I used this to “pretty-up” our basket-ball hoop. I previously had tossed a few cinder blocks at the back of the basketball hoop base, and they worked OK but did not look nice. I ordered this and purchased four plastic bags of sand from the local big box store. The sand bags fit very well inside this “bag”. I would recommend having an extra set of hands, as it was nice to have somebody hold this open while we stuffed the sand bags into it. The size of the bag is appropriate for a standard basketball hoop. It was a bit loose, but overall worked fine.

This basketball bag is just what I needed! I just moved and don't have a great way to anchor my hoop and now I do! This is a solid bag and is super easy to fill! Has a great zipper and extra straps on the back to hook it in together! Lays perfect on my hoop standard and solved all my problems. Then when I need to move it, I pulled it off and it was super easy!

This bag solution for weighting my basketball goal is excellent. I have moved from a setup where I had two exposed bags of play sand (100lbs) to one where I have 200 pounds of sand holding my goal in place. And with a much more attractive look to it. The bag is a nice fit for my setup, given that there are two support bars that limit how wide I can go. With this bag I was able to fit four 50-lb bags of play sand (200 pounds total) to hold my goal in place (as compared to the 100 previously), and it's much more attractive looking than before (see the before and after pix).Two tips to share. First, make sure you place the bags of sand (or whatever you're using to weight the bag) in position BEFORE you try to add the sand; makes it much easier to work with. In my case I added four 50lb bags of sand (200lb total), which would have been almost impossible to move had I done it before putting it in place. And second, schlepping around 50lb bags of sand is a little bit difficult, so I found that putting each bag in place - over the lip of the bottom inside of the bag - left it so I could simply lift the bag so it would slide to the back end. Once I had loaded the four bags, I simply zipped it up, fastened the snap connectors, and I was done. Much better than before.This is a great solution to a rather unsightly setup before. And I can't recommend it highly enough. My goal went through some high winds with only 100lb of sand holding it in place. It's going to be virtually impervious to the nearly constant - and sometimes insane - winds now. Five stars!

Fits my basketball hoop perfectly, looks good, has nice stitching, reasonably thick fabric, and holds several bags worth of sand, making it very heavy and ensuring your hoop won't blow over in the wind! This bag also has some nice thick straps to hold it to the base, which will hopefully keep it from spilling any sand even if the hoop does somehow get knocked down!This story may seem implausible, but it's true. I've had my basketball hoop for nearly 4 years now, and never had it blow over, it has been moved by the wind just a little bit on a couple of occasions, but funny enough literally the night before this arrived we had some really strong winds and the hoop got knocked down! So I filled this up and installed it immediately upon receiving it, and we have had even stronger winds up to around 35-40mph today and the hoop hasn't moved an inch! kind of wish I'd have known about these bags sooner, but I'm very glad to have one now!As always if I encounter any issues or think of anything else to add I'll update this review!

I got it to throw on top of my already weighed down base for additional stability. The material seems to be pretty heavy duty and it fits the profile of the base of my basketball hoop. No complaints!

I got this for storing sand bags to keep my basketball hoop from blowing over. It was easy to open and close and fits the sandbags we have easily. It's easy to lift up and move around as well. Our last one claimed it was waterproof but it wasn't, and so far this one appears to be waterproof.
