The item was disappointing as it grew mold, forcing me to dispose of it. Regrettably, it was not worth the money spent. I advise steering clear of this product to avoid a similar experience in the future.

I’ve had bathtub faucet filters before and they do filter somewhat. The thing with filters is any quality filter let’s water through slowly in order to effectively filter the water. With these bath filters, it goes in and out so fast that there doesn’t seem to be any way it could filter out the hundreds of contaminants it claims, especially chemicals.I did know this beforehand, but I like using these bath filters for a different purpose. I put essential oils into the filter and having the flow of water dilute the oils into the bathtub, as opposed to putting random drops directly into the bathtub and having those oils just concentrate into certain spots.Another good thing about these filters is it does filter out larger particles, like sand, or other large contaminants that may be flowing through your water pipes, which I have seen on top of the filters now and then. If you don’t have a directly connected whole house filter system installed then these definitely help filter out some impurities in the water.Otherwise these do have a solid make to them and with the included hangers, very easy to install, as long as you have a faucet that is able to hang this filter directly under where the water comes out of. Overall still very happy with the quality and functionality of these bathtub filters.
