Use this on a portable pump in my boat and makes it so much easier to clean the gunk that would otherwise clog it.

We have a well and occasionally sediment clogs our hose sprayers. This was an inexpensive solution.

This prevents clogs in our garden sprinkler by catching sand, sediment, etc that comes from our well. I do have to use pliers to remove the very tight filter when I need to clean it out.

At first I thought the plastic case was chipped, but figured out that is the design. Very easy to install (on compatible hose threads) and use once the filter screen mechanism is turned once or twice. The screen is definitely sized to work well; it filters particles but maintains water flow. Everything seems to seal very well BUT I am using it on a washing machine, and do not leave the water pressure on in-between laundry days just in case. Removing the screen for cleaning when the water is off can still cause an intense water release of an ounce or two if there is pressure in the line. Overall, the inline water filter seems sturdy and should last... waiting to see.

I have white drinking water safe drinking hoses attached to my RV. Unfortunately, since they are water safe, they tend to allow algae growth inside. Not a big deal, until it gets to the point where it's clogging up the filter. Which in a Florida summer can happen very quickly. Black hoses don't allow the algae growth, but then the water coming out of the hose is a thousand degrees, so everything is a trade-off. This filter allows me to easily clean out the algae frequently, and keeps it from getting into the main water filter, which is a little more expensive to replace.

We have set up a micro watering system that is fed via a pump from large rain water storage tanks. This simple filter has saved us from struggling with plugged micro watering heads. It is very easy to clean, traps a surprising amount of fine debris. A small investment that is WELL worth it!

It was just the correct size for my pony pump, i deliver water from my 45 gallon rain barrel and at times we get some debris in the water, since i just installed a drip irrigation for my garden I didn’t want to plug up the emitters with dirt so the filter was installed on my pony pump at the intake fitting that also protects the pump from any debris

Bought these to filter the water going into my automatic water system for my chickens and my Rabbitry and for our washing machine. This is a nice concept for filtering water. It does however has some issues that take away from such a great design.1. The rubber seal/washers are absolute garbage. No matter what I did or how I adjusted them, they continually leaked. I had to pull out a kit I bought at a local hardware store and use the red washers you see in the pic. That completely fixed the leaks.2. The connection side where I have the garden hose in it, the plastic protrudes at least 1/8” past where the threads start. So It can be very difficult to get the threads started. Especially if your hose end/fitting is not deep like mine wasn’t. I can see how this could get cross threaded easily. I had to attach that end first to get it to finally catch the threads. I was about to take my angle grinder to the unnecessary plastic before it finally caught enough threads to tighten.See the pic. It’s a shame that they used such a cheap seal/washer with this because it the overall quality otherwise seems good.Manufacturer… please address the unnecessary bulk of plastic before the threads begin.

We're on a well and use a pressure washer often to clean our vehicles and outside our house. The well can sometimes pick up sand and put it in the lines, which aren't great for pressure washers. I bought this sediment filter to install on the pressure washer, which has proven to be a great purchase! After using it for about an hour the other day, the sediment filter caught a lot of small rocks and sand and prevented that from going through the pump. The screen is easy to clean, just twist it a quarter turn and rinse it under water.

Had a repairman out to check on our washer. Long story short grit from our well clogged the filter in the cold water inlet. Bought this because the first review I read about this product was the very same thing that happened to me. After the install we tried out the "new" machine and it did the sam,e thing itwas doing the first time. Well wife notcied I did not turn cold water back on. Turnes it back on and machine ran like a champ.

I have well water and sometimes get particles in my water. Caused issues with the inlet valve on my washing machine. After replacing the valve for the second time, decided to try a filter. Added this to my cold water line with a lever water shut off attachment. I am very pleased with how much it catches and it's very easy to clean
