When your auto battery is low, there is no one around for a jump and you don't have time/electric to wait for a slow charge, this booster is the ticket. Starts a low powered battery instantly. Has saved me several times when I had a car battery getting too old or when I left interior devices/lights on. Easy 2 connector hook-up, turn it on, start your auto, then turn the charger off and disconnect. It's that easy! I keep one in every vehicle I own and have given them to several loved ones. Makes a great Christmas/birthday gift!

Yes, you do need a Lithium Charger for your Lithium Batteries. This turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The charge rate is perfect for the Lithium Marine Batter I use for my boat. 1% to 100% in a little under 2 hours. That was 3 VDC to 13.9 VDC. Very impressed.

UPDATED REVIEWAlthough my initial rating was 3 stars for the reason described in the review below, I added one star because the seller offered a refund for the charger.INITIAL REVIEWI bought this charger for use with a 6 Amp Hour LiFePO4 battery. On the AGM/LiFePO4 setting, it charged the battery too fast (about 4 Amps), and stopped early. I tried the MOTO setting, which only charged at 1.6 Amps, but the charger still stopped when the battery was only 75% filled.This charger performed well with a lead acid lawn tractor battery. It doesn't seem to do well with small LiFePO4 batteries though.

Update: Does not trickle charge lipo battery. Just turns to off so a couple of weeks later, my battery was drained down to 70%. Had to recharge again.Worked perfectly for my kayak battery. 100 amp lipo. Charged quickly and trickle charges to keep it charged.

This little charger is very light and very intuitive for charging most 12v batteries.

It did a good job getting a bad battery to hold a charge. I had tried with other chargers but this one worked. I am real pleased that the charger was such a reasonable price.
