How to Timer?
- Click once--Always on
- Click twice--Timing(6 hours)

The hanging light is powered by 4xAA batteries(Not included). Battery operated. The ON/OFF switch is on the cover of the battery box. When you press the switch to timer, it will automatically turn on for 6 hours, and then automatically turn off for 18 hours. And then automatically turn on again after that.The lamp can be used as a night light, hanging lamp, or mood light, you will never be disappointed.
Please Note:
1. The ON/OFF/Timer switch is at the top of the battery holder. Battery Operated, 4 AA batteries are not included.
2. Battery life is hard to estimate. It depends on which mode you choose - On continuous will not last nearly as long as timing work mode.
3. Clean the battery contact and those of the device prior to battery installation.
4. Remove batteries if the product is not to be used for a long time.
5. If you want to use it outdoors, you need to bring the product indoors after use.

Very soft lighting but don't expect it to light an entire area very well.It's almost like ambiance or emits the light of a single wick candle or less.
